EVEN when lyrics have seemed cheesy they are INTENTIONALLY dumbed down to make a point... - what other 22 year old girl do you know that could look at fame and pop culture and integrate where society is at AS well as her own life experiences with wanting to become a star and feel her own intrinsic sense of fame and self worth, and explode all of that into pop music such as Poker Face, Just Dance, Paparazzi, LoveGame etc on a DEBUT ALBUM?!?! What other 23 year old girl do you know that turned only 8 songs into the most EPIC 8 works of art you have ever heard - about fears and insecurities? What other 24 year old songwriter AT THE PEAK OF HER GROWING FAME do you know that SELFLESSLY took issues of Gay rights, immigration laws, self acceptance, bullying, and religion and turned it into the most poetic and strong and personally revealing lyrics of BORN THIS WAY - Americano, Hair, Born This Way, Bad Kids, Judas, Highway Unicorn etc.. Then... she evolves even further and talks about finding a sense of gravity within ART and wanting to make it more important than POP and corporations and money - the music had more of an immature dance rave party feeling BUT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO she wanted to CELEBRATE the victory of BTW and make everyone dance and spread LOVE by hailing VENUS. OH... and all the ****ing songs all had DOUBLE meanings... how is that for smart lyrics? I have zero doubts or concerns for LG5. It will be more mature than ARTPOP that's all we know.
