LOL, I think everyone has forgotten about gaga at this point, kind of worried what that means for next album sales.

your short term memory doesn't ≠ everyone.

Too many assumptions based on not much at all. But interesting is all I have to saysay. Glad they actually worked together for the Chic album though.

Funky doesn't necessarily apply to 'funk' music. Calm down. But anyway I think it will have connection in this 'genre'.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

Oh god, all the plebeians in this thread saying they don't want funk, one of the best genres in existence. Do your homework, gurls. You don't want to hear Gaga doing something like this with modern production?

I love the eleganza of it all, tbh. In the 70s-80s, funk had some of the most out there, creative, wildly talented musicians. Rick James, Earth Wind & Fire, Prince, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Slave, The Gap Band, Chic (obviously), etc. Funk is like a harder edged disco. You cannot be a self respecting gay and not appreciate funk.

I don't really know what to think about it. I mean most of funk music has always been done by male singers, so I'm not sure how this will turn out.

Don't sweat it. Women slay at funk...

Spoiler

And more modern stuff:

Spoiler

Gaga even dabbled in funk sounds with these timeless unreleased bops :laughga:

Most of these have disco and synthpop in it, so I have no problem with them. But I don't like that Grace Jones one. I also don't really like those Gaga songs. So...sorry. :awkney:
