Have You LOST Interest in Lady Gaga?

More and more on here I see people starting daily threads about how they are annoyed or bothered that Gaga has taken so long on her upcoming pop project LG5, and to those fan's credit Gaga has always before each era given hints, lyrics, song titles, even talked directly to fans about each forthcoming era. Now I don't think Gaga should have pulled another ARTPOP and revealed the title 15 months in advance, reveal looks, perform 90% of the album weeks before release, constantly give fans song titles (I'm sure there were tons of songs on BTW, TFM we never heard but because she told a million song titles it's why fans always cry over ARTPOP b sides that never saw the light of day), but I do think there is a legitimate sense of unsatisfaction with little monsters because Gaga went from 100 to literally 0. She has always been a fan communicator, she practically branded the idea of fan community in the digital era....yet it seems now that she is a ghost. Her only tweets lack personality, and a shitty drawn XOXO Monsters over a snapchat selfie is about as personal as it gets. 

For me, it's not just the upcoming album/music that seems so clandestine and confusing....it's Gaga herself....this modern artist who always promised that "it will always come back to the music" and that "she would die for her fans". Now it seems like she wouldn't even wince at the idea of us being so without her. For an extermperaneous period of time, mind you. I understand people evolve, change, and that making her fans constantly happy shouldn't be a priority.....BUT....there is kind of a hypocrisy to her longest absence in her career. Yes...we've gotten covers, tributes, TV appearances, acting roles....but these things don't ever seem driven by her original message. 

I also notice many fans always talk about how we need to make sure she "captures the GP" (not even for hits, but purely to seem like she's impactful still) and they ignore the fanbase. It is a fanBASE for a reason....and if she loses her stans it will become impossible to reach the GP. And if she does, it won't be meaningful anymore. The core connection is important. When artists are 50, they need hardcore fans. It's what makes the difference between an artist who was part of an era, and a legendary icon. 

Gaga once said she'd never get caught without her heels. She said she wanted to be the next Iron Maiden because of their ability to cultivate a fan community. And I get occasional absences....but us there a point when she is gone too long? Have we reached it? And is it really a "betrayal" as she trademarked once if we begin to lose interest if that end of the bond hasn't been held up on her part? At what point does the clock stop ticking, and that tick tick tick tick can no longer be a boom?

Idk how I feel tbh. I still love her but over the past 2-3 months it's beginning to feel like LG5 will never come. Especially when everyone was saying we would have the album by may, but we still haven't heard anything. I fell in love with popGa, with crazyGa, but in all my time of being a stan (well over a year) I have never seen the gaga I love. I was never a stan during a pop era so to me it feels like popGa is just a myth

I actually think she lost alot of her fans during the BTW era. After The Edge of Glory she started to look vulnerable. I think ARTPOP'S weak sales were the product of that. 

I think Inter scope had her "redefine her image" because they are banking on her new "subtle and toned down" look to translate into LG5 success. The problem is.....at the end if the day....the GP does not see Gaga as a mesmerizing ballad artist. I'm worried if LG5 is tooooo serious, that it will actually make her look outdated and on her way to Vegas....a tired act. That's my biggest worry with LG5.
