They go decades without a mass shooting yet we have more shootings in a year than we do days the problem isn't guns and it's not mental health (although we need to take that more seriously too). The problem is our society. We're a country torn apart by the stupidest of things and we always seem to think violence and dishonesty is the answer rather than trying to come to a compromise or something...anything other than pulling a trigger. There are so many issues to talk about here...racism, sexism, xenophobia, transphobia, zealot ideals leading one of the two major political parties, corruption, wealth inequality, a government that treats it's lower/middle class like they're the villains, politicians being bought, a disgustingly huge military budget, a crooked penal system, an enormous prisoner population, sensationalist media that's always pushing some kind of agenda rather than reporting facts, the list goes on and on and branches off into a hundred other issues for each one...
