Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston Hologram Performance!

I thought this was nice, she was more restrained and didn't ad lib as much as normal and I think it sounded great.

Is it a leak cuz this is really a dress rehearsal video for the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday and it was supposed to be a surprise? X Factor? The Voice?  

Welp...there goes the show know factor...

However, the screen is very obvious and it doesn't even look like her....they shouldve made the screen more hidden or something, but Christina did a great job

This was live. I DO believe there was some post-recording editing done to her vocals to clean them up, but she was not lip-synching.

this was for the voice finale and meant to be a promo for the upcoming whitney houston hologram tour.

lol I have no reason to lie, I just have ears and eyes, it is very clear that she is NOT singing live and that she is pretending to open her mouth and she is very nervous at the beginning because it's hard when you have to be precise with the backtrack..

I am no judging, she may have had some problems with her voice, or it was just too hard for her. I mean, we all know that Christina can sing, but that's not a reason why I shouldn't say that this isn't live... It can happen to anyone.

I don't think there's a single instance where it looks/appears to be lip synched. As i said, i think it can be speculated that some of the higher notes sound edited if only because they sound too perfect, but i see NO evidence whatsoever of there being an issue with her mouth moving out of sync with her voice.

Similarly, i have no reason to fight tooth and nail to defend Christina and would take no issue in pointing out when she's lip-syncs. I have been an avid fan since 2002 and have seen hundreds of her performances. There have been few times when she's lipsynched and this is not one of them.

We are not fighting, just discussing, and in my opinion, I don't think it's live singing.. Again, Christina is an amazing vocalist, one of the best out there, this does not change that fact..

I have to agree with you on this one.  I'm around music (playing guitar, recording, studio equipment) when I'm not working and my listening skills have improved.  Others like me understand what I'm talking about.  Nothing wrong with stating this.  Part of showbizness/tv but good ear!
