Definitely an all-time pop classic, just yesterday Calvin Harris was on Beats 1 talking about how Gaga brought dance music back to the mainstream with this record. She was quite ahead of the curve on the synthpop revivalism wave.

I might turn your comment into a thread. :emma:

Is Gaga finding the next dominant genre in pop music for LG5?

Ever leading queen.

Sure, synthpop revivalism has been present across all of music this decade, from mainstream pop (pretty much every mainstream pop star you can think of, 1989 being the most obvious example along with EMOTION, Bangerz, Random Access Memories), Indie Pop (Sky Ferreira, Blood Orange, Ariel Pink, Chvrches), Alternative (Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, etc.), even hip-hop (Drake).

It can largely be traced back to circa 2008 and Gaga deserves her fair share of credit for that, along with Kanye for 808s & Heartbreak (although that was also much more creative and impactful).

New releases.

They should be disallowed so Gaga can stay in the top 100.  :)

I live outside the space time continuum.
