Trump leads Clinton in new Fox News poll

But the poll is a 1 v. 1, it doesn't matter if Sanders is still running, the poll asks for that to be taken out of consideration. Sanders is beating Trump in the same poll yet he's destined to lose the nomination. Where's the logic there?

I was meaning that everyone was saying it was inaccurate because it was Fox News, when their polls are usually good. But yes, Trump has received a bump from becoming the nominee. Although Hillary's trust numbers are really horrible.

I'm looking at previous Fox News polls and as far as Hillary vs Trump is concerned, it's all over the place. 

In September Clinton lead by 4 points, in October Trump lead by 5 points. 

In November Trump lead by 5 points, in December Clinton lead by 11 points.

In January Trump led by 3 points, in February Trump led by 2 points

Then we had Clinton leading by 11 and 7 points in March and April respectively, so now we're back to Trump "leading" by 3 points. 

 

The point is, polls change throughout the Primary season, and the way the questions are asked is important too. I'll be more interested in the polls once the nominees are declared at their respective conventions.

It actually paints a clearer picture. A Bernie voter is not inclined to say yes to a Hillary vote until Bernie is out of the picture. Meanwhile Hillary voter would rather not see a Republican in the white house and say yes to both Hillary or Bernie. You can tell my logic just based on the ridiculous, sexist comments made by Bernie supporters on this site.  The poll contains a Bernie head to head with Donald and a Hillary Head to Head with Donald and this same poll before more than likely contained a Ted head to head with Bernie and Hillary. Thats when Hillary was beating Donald and so was Bernie. The past poll gave Donald less numbers because there was more options. It's common sense, give people more options and the vote will be split, give people less options and they will rally behind their party's nominee.

True, but those polls were done before we have the presumptive nominee of the republican & democratic side.  Polls should be getting less errors as we narrowed our candidate list.  Not saying these polls now are accurate, but they're a lot better than the ones you listed.

If you look at the comments of many Bernie supporters, and the likes/upvotes those comments have received, you'll see that many are planning to write in Bernie's name, not vote at all, or are saying things like "maybe Trump won't be so bad", "we need to break up the DNC just like the big banks" or "tell me why I should vote for Hillary regardless of what happens?"

I'm pretty sure your comment makes my whole point, and is part of the ridiculous comments I was talking about. But thank you for citing specific examples of ridiculous comments.
