Wendy Williams lowkey shades Gaga during Prince segment

Wendy and her brain dead audience dont know ****. Miguel or Janelle Monae would be perfect for a Prince tribute 

She kinda right about the Bowie tribute tho. I was cringing with how literal it was but she seemed to get away with it since were used to used to her ridiculous antics (see Joe Calderone ). If Madonna came out dressed as Purple Rain era Prince tho her career would essentially be over 

Im assuming Madonnas just gonna do a speech tribute sort of thing like she did with MJ at the vmas's. She doesn't have the vocal range to pull off any Prince songs  The only big pop star I could see pull it off is maybe Beyonce.

She took it too literal. When you think about a tribute its about showing how much them/their music touched you through a passionate and heartfelt performance not dressing up and imitating them with very structured costuming/staging like some Vegas act  Its can be seen as kind of selfish like your making it about yourself and showing people that you can do it just as good as them. I'm sure gaga didn't intend that and was probably just tryna show the younger generation how cool Bowie and his visuals were but it just wasn't the right timing to do something like that
