Lion Heart 15,041 Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 I got some news regarding the upcoming contests: On THE June 7 election.. the winner of the New Jersey primary will be declared the Presumptive nominee (Hillary). Since all she needs is roughly 85 delegates, and we have two contests coming up: Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.. if she can win 30 of these delegates (she'll probably win more), then all she'll need is ~55 delegates in NJ. The winner of the New Jersey Primary will automatically get 63 delegates, which is enough to secure the nomination. So it will end up looking like this: Even if Bernie somehow wins California, because New Jersey will be the first(?) state to be called that night, and it has all the delegates Hillary needs... then it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. Lion Heart 15,041 Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 If I were Bernie I wouldn't spend much on ads.. or on anything at all considering there are rumors that his campaign will be bankrupt because of the FEC listed all the violations (of people who donated more than they should have) and will need to return that money (if he can).
