I don't know why everybody is acting like her next album has only one producer. Also, I don't think the sound of the album changed much since she started working on it. She's been all about funk/disco/rock'n roll since mid 2014. It has just become now more evident. She finished a couple of songs for Nile (LG5 and Chic's album) as well as likly the RedOne tracks. Now that they're mixed, there isn't much left to do besides mastering. I think, and this is the most likely situation, that she has finished her tracks with DJWS, Nile, RedOne etc and wants to finish the Mark Ronson songs before she releases the album. Why? Well, she would want all the songs done so she can lay them out and go "ok, ill take this one, that one, this one" etc to make a cohesive album with the mixture of tracks she has. She has been hinting at the sound direction for 2 years now so i doubt she has made any changes. She usually works on albums until 2 weeks before they're due to be released and makes songs after the lead single is out, so i think shes trying to avoid that period of rushing this time to finish the album BEFORE the lead single. MGC 226 Posted May 17, 2016 Share Posted May 17, 2016 It's a year and a half since she started her writing process and considering that in the meanwhile she's been on tour and she filmed AHS, it may just be that she started working extensively on lg5 recently. In this perspective, the work she has done with redone could make the final cut even tho her vision might have changed in this time.
