LebaneseDude 6,146
From The Hill Tensions were high at the Democratic convention in Nevada Saturday, with Bernie Sanders supporters demanding delegate recounts, booing Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and causing other disruptions, according to local media reports. Sanders supporters were angry over a voice vote that adopted a set of temporary convention rules as the permanent rules, according to the Las Vegas Sun. And supporters also reacted angrily to the count of delegates attending the convention, which put Hillary Clinton at an advantage. Final numbers announced later in the day showed 1,695 Clinton supporters in attendance to Sanders's 1,662. Boxer, a Hillary Clinton supporter, said among booing from the crowd “the future of the country is at stake. When you boo me, you’re booing Bernie Sanders. Go ahead. You’re booing Bernie Sanders.” The vote on rules led to supporters flocking the front of the convention room and shouting “this is fixed” and “no confidence” at party officials. ---- Forgive me if I'm a little unclear. A little drunk from a night out at Machine...but as someone else said... They are upset because: 1) Hillary won the caucus which estimated the delegate count at 20 - 15. 2) Then in the second step at the county level convention, the Sanders supporters outnumbered the Clinton supporters and gained some of the estimated delegates back for Bernie. 3) Now at the state level convention today, the Clinton supporters outnumbered the Sanders supporters and the delegate count ends up back where it started as 20 -15 in favor of Clinton. The same result as was estimated based on the caucus results. So, they are mad that the delegates they stole from Clinton at the county level, got stolen back at the state level by Clinton. They are mad that the end results actually reflect the results of the original caucus. Bernie Math once again? Good job on some Bernard supporters acting like the left's Tea Party. ****ing morons. JusKeepBreathin 19,311
This Bernie nonsense needs to stop. Bernie does have the leverage to change some policies in the Dem party. Isn't that what all this was for in the first place, change? What's the point of all of it if we are now going to give the election to Trump because we are not unified. Bernie need to suspend his campaign if he really wants change and not just some misguided sense of power over anarchists. FATCAT 60,888
We're mad for several reasons, but the main reason is that our voice is not being recognized in the DNC. * They started counting petitions, essentially voting, before EVERYONE was even inside. The preliminary count was just plain undemocratic. They then moved that the preliminary count, be final. THAT'S UNDEMOCRATIC. This is the DNC rigging the system. We have a right to be angry, and you should be too. This kitten over here (meow)

You don't unify the party by telling 45% of the party that their voice doesn't count. That's Bullshit. This kitten over here (meow)
ALGAYDO 35,132
I can't wait until Hilary wins the nomination so things like these can settle down Or maybe that'll cause even MORE chaos? Either way, I'll be sitting here with my popcorn (no butter of course ) watching my country go up in flames until Hilary ~hopefully~ wins the presidency

What do you want? A second place trophy? Your guy lost the popular vote and the pledged delegates. Your vote counted...it simply wasn't enough to win the nomination. There was blatant election fraud at the NV caucus and there has been rampant election fraud in almost every closed primary we've been in. You can't say "You got to vote" when our votes aren't being accepted. The DNC used to reign in large numbers of new voters, that was the goal. Now, they're trying to rope off their primaries and caucuses and get lower turn out. We want to win or lose fairly. Notice how Bernie and his followers don't have any problem with those undemocratic elections. You lost and if was fair, especially for the party to allow a complete Independant to run in the first place. The caucuses had lower turn outs...you know, the state's that Bernie won. To each their own, I guess That's what's so great about living in the US, we all get a say in what we want, and thankfully we're not part of a dictatorship, so we can all vote for whomever we wish. On a side note, if Hilary does get the nom, who'd you vote for?
