A worrying lack of little versatiles that are constantly negative about her on every thread.

"I don't go on much here anymore cause everyone accuses me of being a hater." :flop:

I didn't really hate her but when I was a freshman in highschool, I got a kick out of making my friends at that time laugh by ridiculing Gaga.
Then I watched her interviews, got into her music, and now here I am. :3

Well, I am not a hater, but when Just Dance came out I was thinking she's another dumb blonde that record labels spewed out.

But VMA 2009 change all that. So, god bless that performance cos it shows she is more than a dumb blonde.

Bloody hooker

I let the light in during TFM era giphy.gif(we need this emote back)

but I never hated her. It took me about a year after Just Dance and a few months after BD to get into her.

This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.

I wasn't exactly a "hater", but I thought she was a pretentious b*tch and a satanic cult leader, even Satan himself... I was actually kind of scared of her.

I remember an interesting story when I was younger - a late summer night with my friends, the night when the world was somehow supposed to end. We were talking about the upcoming apocalypse and other creepy stuff, and of course, since it was 2010(just a few weeks after the Alejandro video was released) Gaga was an important topic. I was REALLY sensitive to this stuff, so when I went back home I couldn't sleep the whole night because I thought it was Gaga's fault, and I blamed her for all bad events in the world because I believed she was the devil. :green:

When she first became famous, I really didn't like her. I thought Just Dance was a bop, but I also thought she was a pretentious Madonna-wannabe. But then I saw the Bad Romance video, and everything changed. I became an immediate stan.  :gaycat:

Yes, I've had the weirdest relationship with gaga. I remember instantaneously liking Just Dance the first time I heard it (summer 08). And then around Poker Face is when she started to blow up and that's when I started to hate her cause I saw a bunch of interviews and live performances and thought she was the weirdest person ever. I guess I hated her out of my frustration from not understanding her. But then I came across one interview where she was in her FameGa/NYC girl "alter ego" if you will and I fell in love. I also felt weird liking her cause she was known for being a "gay act" and I'm not gay

But eventually I got it over and really understood her as a person and artist and haven't connected to anyone like that ever. She has a monster for life in me :nick:

Yes, before. Like back in 2009-2010 for a short while. I hated her guts. I thought she was just a fad. But I saw Telephone, and the light reached me.

Early in her career I saw weird, freakish images of her and dismissed her as one of those people who try to make a living by drawing the attention of the media.  People with no talent can make a living that way.  Because of that I did not listen to her, watch her, or read about her.   In August 2010 I accidentally discovered her jazz phrasing ability.  I told my jazz musician friends that behind Lady Gaga's pop persona is a talented jazz singer.  They said "Lady who?  Isn't she that weird person?"  They live in the jazz world and pay no attention to pop.  Then I watched her interviews and found that she is a very good person who helps people.  That's when I became a Stan.

I live outside the space time continuum.

I was always a fan/stan since hearing & seeing Just Dance in the summer of 08, and I still am to this day!!!  :poot:

From the moment I saw her on stage at the Miss Universe Pagaent 2008, I knew there was something special about her!  She had pipes like other fav X-tina & fashion out of this world!!!  :D:D:D

I thought this exact same thing about Britney when she first came out back in the day, but the only difference between you and me now is I low key kinda still feel that way about Britney...  :tea:
