Another lyricist I love is Shakira, her lyrics are beautiful and I'm in love with the song "Sale el Sol", such an amazing song, deep lyrics and metaphors.

Yes, Gaga can write some fantastic lyrics and she can be both serious and dark and fun and light, but always creative. My love for music starts first with the lyrics, so there are many lyricists in my heart.

of course, gaga's poetry is unique, complex, and diverse.  

i like sia's lyrics, but i dislike her process and lack of emotional connection to her own songs. 

i love marina's lyrics and appreciate that her stance on art and integrity is similar to that of gagz. 

these women are amazing artists.

I love her lyrics and the way she sings them! This one particularly is so haunting and effective to me:

"I can be your girl... But will you love me if I rule the world?"

To write and sing that at her peak... Man the vulnerability behind the fame tbh.
