At least its not going straight to the final like the german song :gaycat:

Thank god. Both Germany and Ukraine don't deserve to be in the final this year... :emma:

I just heard the song from Croatia and I think it's one of the worst this year so far. :saladga:

Ahaha, I understand why. I don't think it is that bad after you give it a few listens. But I think it will go to the final, because he can sing and it will sound better live.

Btw, I am watching O'G3NE, when will they actually present the song? Enough talking already :awkney:

Edit: heard the song. The first part is incredibly boring, and the second part is 10/10. All in all, a great song, you should be proud. :golfclap:

Here it is! O'G3NE from the Netherlands just released their Eurovision entry 'Lights and Shadows'.

I love them so much, yet their songs are always a little bit dated and their talent deserves better songs. So I was prepared for this songs since the same songwriter of their previous work wrote this song. It sounds like their first single 'Magic'. I do like it and I start to love it. I know when I will hear the live version tonight, I will be blown away like always. Just wait and see, the song will be 1000 times better when they sing it live.

Also I did expect the story behind the song. Their mother is very sick and it's really effecting these young girls. This song is for those people that need hope in darker times. It's a nice message.

I'm still mad about what happened to Loreen. Her song and performance have more quality than any other song and performance from the festival. She knows how to make a statement and she has the it factor, which most Eurovision entries lack of.

I just listened to all the entries so far on Spotify and I really don't like any of them.

His voice is great, but it really is too much for 3 minutes. He's collaborating with him self, it's kinda funny. He even want to perform with 'two faces'. Like the left side is the pop voice and the right side is his opera side. This can turn out really messy. I hope he won't mess it up.

I'm really proud! I think they deserve to be in the final at least.

Same sis, let's pray Sweden changed their mind. Tomorrow we can watch her perform live again. Sweden better send her to the final where she belongs.

Thank god. Most of the Dutch people always dislike their songs, but when they have a nice score they suddenly love it. Such a mess. 2017 is not a strong year yet. Their are not really bad songs, but on the other side there are not really outstanding songs either. But we have to wait for Sweden, Russia, Australia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. They always deliver something good. Also Greece will probably send something great this year. We have 50% of the songs now, let's hope the other 50% is better (it normally is).

I had the same feeling until today. Belgium is always delivering the past few years. Blanche has a unique voice, I hope she'll have unique song too.

I actually liked most of our songs after the first listen the past few years. And like always the whole country seems to dislike it again. :air:

I noticed. Every year it's the same damn mess. :ladyhaha: I can still recall everyone bashing The Common Linnets until they got second place, then everyone seemed to love them. I am really starting to get annoyed that many Dutch people criticize our entry so much. Like obviously everyone has a different music taste but you don't need to repeat a thousand times that the song sucks, that the Netherlands will get zero points and that we won't qualify for the finals as usual. It really sucks the fun out of the contest for me.
