I am torn between Portugal 🇵🇹 and The Netherlands 🇳🇱

hope my man (Nathan Trent) will make top 15 : give Austria 🇦🇹 a vote - he is as sweetheart, loves Gaga and supports the lgbtq+

plus he is a cutie

Poor qualifiers from Semi-Final 2, they did their dress rehearsal and jury show on Wednesday, their live show yesterday, dress rehearsal and jury show for the final today and the final live show tomorrow. Must be really exhausting. :saladga:

It was a great show last night, but only because of the songs. Opening and the interval act were pretty much boring, there were issues with microphones and cameras, and when the hosts started announcing the qualifiers, it seemed like they were dragging too much.

I am pretty much satisfied with the songs that are going to finale. I would only switch Norway with Estonia. I feel so sad for Laura and Koit. Her microphone didn't work at the beginning and they probably should have performed again. However, some shots were weird or spooky (remember Koit's creepy looks? :ladyhaha:) and their almost nonexistent chemistry didn't feel genuine. So that's that.

@Dutch, I was very happy when Netherlands were (finally) declared as one of the finalists. Girls are vocally outrageous and killing it, but my concern is they won't achieve a high placing. That is, not as high as it should be because animations and many camera angles are not as slick as their singing. Nevertheless, it's a top 10 definitely!

Bulgaria proved they are here to win it all, though I would give the edge to Portugal and Italy, hoping that the former will win and keeping it real because the latter will be hard to beat if juries don't do the similar thing they did last year with Russia.

I felt happiness and joy from the moment Jacques' postcard started to roll. He nailed the performance with his outstanding voice, and bizarre and kitschy setting. Croatia, along with Romania, will probably be one of the most hated countries this year, but top 10 is imminent. And I love it! We waited 16 years to have a top 10 placing, and now we have a good chance. Even the order of performance (13th) suggests that people loved our entry and it should place high in the final.

Overall, I must say this year's Eurovision turned out quite okay. The stage could be better, there are a lot of issues, hosts are trying too hard to be funny (though just looking at those two warms my... ummm heart? :lolly: :poot:), but it's fun from start till finish and one big commendation to the public. I don't remember when was the last time that people in arena were so enthusiastic over every contestant and results. I can only imagine what great atmosphere awaits us tomorrow. Can't wait!

We're going on with the next 5 rehearsals:

Like I said, the two big favorites are close to each other in the running order, here is Portugal:

And the last 6 countries are:

Germany, hoping to end higher than last place this year:

The host of this country is here, Ukraine:

Another favorite, Belgium, do you think she will improve even more and win it?

Will we go back to Sweden again next year?

Or will Bulgaria prove that they were a deserved favorite? He's singing after two other big favorites.

Last direct finalist and the last dress rehearsal of the day, France:
