My Estonian girl Kerli made it to the final too! I'm really glad they appreciate her song. It's not her best song and she was sick today, but she still delivered something good:

If she finally represents Estonia in Kiev she will do great. Her song really stands out and it has all the makings of what we call "winning material". Perfect, catchy, futuristic sound and such a powerful performance. Love it.

Lol, Albania and Georgia are even worse, so you should use them for you pissing slots. :giggle:
I really like the song from Poland tho, it's a modern ballad like Finland.

Robin for the win? I'm not sure about that. His song from last year was better in my opinion. His performance this year came with a bigger budget tho. I think and hope Sweden will send a female again. I think Mariette and Loreen are gonna fight for the crown. I wish Ace was a big competition for them too, but she probably will get her lowest result so far in Melfest. I'm not her for Nano, no thanks.

I think Jon Henrik feat. Aninia can surprise us too next week. I liked his song in 2015, but I'm sure the international jury won't like it that much. I never liked Wiktoria her song, so I'm not sure I will like her song this year. And there's almost no way that Loreen will flop, but I don't want to jinx it. I'm really looking forward to the snippets next week.

I am not feeling Poland. Just another ballad for me. And yes, there are better pissing slots  though there are only 4 countries I like so far - Ita, Fra, Fin and Hun.

I wouldn't mind Robin winning, but I agree that Mariette is a much better choice. I didn't care much about Jon and Wiktoria then, but I do hope their songs will be decent. Regarding Loreen, I hope she delivers. I am not looking for Euphoria 2.0, but the track must be outstanding. However, I believe she wouldn't compete again unless she has a winning song. :excited2:

Italia, France and Finland are my favorites so far. Hungary is growing  on me, but Poland is my #4 right now.

I wouldn't mind Robin either. His performance is solid, his vocals a strong and he does look handsome and he's openminded. :giggle:

I still want Mariette at this point tho. I love her so much and her song is the strongest one so far. I agree on Loreen. I don't want a Euphoria 2.0, there is no way she can top that with the same genre. And indeed, why would Loreen compete at Melodifestivalen if she thinks she can't win? That would hurt her name. I think she has a strong song and we are not ready.

Omg, how am I supposed to top this? You win. :duck:
And lmao @ the Dutch flags/Douwe Bob behind Frans. You're even shading me without trying. :toofunny:

Btw, I'm listening to Melfest songs from previous years and it's weird how almost all my favorite songs from 2013 didn't make it to the final. 'You' was my favorite, so I was disappointed when it went to Andra Chansen. But it made his win in the final even more fantastic. And poor Janet Leon, she was robbed twice. Her songs were amazing.

Omg, I didn't notice the Dutch flags :classy::toofunny:

My favorites from 2013 were Anton Ewald, Ulrik Munther and Swedish House Wives.

Okay Guys kinda off topic but I need your help. In November me and the orchestra I play in will give a concert and we want to do a Eurovision medley. For this we wanna use the best and well known songs of Eurovision. What songs do you think we need to use that also very many people know. Thanks😬

I think 2013 is my favorite Melfest year. But most of my faves didn't get to the finals or even AC. Both Robin and Anton were my favorites that year, so it was great to see that they ended up with a amazing result in the final after AC. Robin was in my top 3 at Eurovision that year. Rockin' the Ride will always be my guilty pleasure, damn that performance was iconic.

France did a great job with their bilingual version last year. The France-English combination works better than the Italian-English combination. So I think it's not that bad, but I prefer a 100% France version too.
