Obama needed an establishment name, and Hillary saw it as a chance to position herself for 2016. But her tenure as SOS, like everything else she has done, ended in disaster. And Obama hasn't endorsed her.

Why does Hillary start every campaign as the most qualified, almost certain nominee and then get rejected by the party? Obama was a nobody and managed to beat her, and now Bernie is within a whisker of wiping her out, the establishment is what's just keeping her in it. Face it, she's not what people want.

Anyway, he doesn't have a chance, even if I wish he would. The DNC was wrong to put ALL of its chips into Hillary, they doomed Bernie to not have the support he deserves and they let the right-winged media absolutely demonize Hillary over things that are not especially corruptive for most politicians; they also knew that general sexism and associating her with her husband would be enough to make people want to split the vote between Bernie and Hillary. I dont t hink they counted on Bernie being as popular as he became, but it worked out in their favor as now the vote will split and hurt Hillary. To be fair, Bernie's campaign became desperate and tried to throw blows at Hillary as well.
