The movie is trying to get distribution at the biggest film festival in the world, theres no way one of its stars would jeopardize this process. These producers are just slimeballs. All of those sound like bigger and better opportunities to me. And let's not forget that she was also talking to the Empire people backstage at the Globes, so that is also a possibility.
