Announcing something in Cannes that isn't even true, like wtf? tbh I'm a bit relieved: I had no idea who Dionne Warwick or Cilla Black were, so I was a bit underwhelmed by the news. This reminds me of last year when some concert organizers announced she would be performing at a civil rights march in Selma, they had her name on the posters and everything, but they did it all without confirmation (and Gaga was at Paris Fashion Week preparing for the Met Gala at the time, I think). I don't get how this type of stuff happens. Like, wouldn't you make sure that everyone had signed on the dotted line before you start announcing things like this? Also, this didn't exactly seem like the type of project someone like Gaga would do. She would've been the biggest name attached, yet would have been playing a supporting role. LG is a go big or go home type of girl. I could maybe see it if say, Kerry Washington or Taraji P.
