Is Lady Gaga's new single going #1?

Or more importantly, will it debut there? PILLOWTALK did it with 267k sold in its first week. JT's new single is gonna do it and is predicted to sell 349k. I think Gaga can do 120-200k+ off of hype alone. If she premieres the music video at the same time as the single, a top 5 debut is on lock. All she needs is a radio deal along with that and I think she can do it. I really hope Gaga can get a #1 this era so the haters can stop using BTW being her last #1 as a receipt of her not being relevant since 2011. Thoughts?

I bet it will. I think I saw somewhere that she was returning to pop and songs like "Bad Romance." BTW was her most recent pop album, so that's probably why those songs were so popular.

Mister Gaga

More important: besides sales, she needs no competition. Remember that despite RiRi, Bey, Adele and Justin already released; Bruno, Ed Sheeran, Eminem and Katy Perry (aka the GP darlings) are all releasing this year, probably in Q4. Gaga can't compete with them (commercially speaking). She's too polarizing (and i'm cool with it, i don't want her to play safe).

One word, PROMO.

Something tells me Bobby is gonna have this aspect of LG5 be ****in perfect.

I think the single has a good chance of being #1, but honestly I don't think we should care too much, and I don't think Gaga would like to see us obsessing over how it charts. I think we should all be invested in the music and artistry. Obviously this is my opinion but I'm just so sick of fan bases rubbing the fave's chart statistics in everyones faces.

I think pillow talk and JT's new song are both in a more mellow direction, and funky songs like Uptown Funk are doing well too, so in a strange way they could actually be paving the way for LG5's new direction to be a success!

I think her less dancy, less electronic, more funky-disco-rock music will slay the charts later this year. The pop world seems ready for revival of these genres!

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Hope so. It'll be nice to see her snatch another number 1 single again.

YES, WITH NO DOUBT.

C'mon guys, everyone is thirsty for her new music. Pretty sure the enough hype is there.
