In any case PrEP appears to be 99.99% effective so just pop the pill and be done with it. It's medication but it has noticeable no side effects if you don't exhibit them from the onset. I don't know how is it in the USA but my friend is from Italy and gets the treatment for free like the rest of the positives. It sucks to live with medicines all your life, to avoid alcohol and to come out every time someone wants bareback.. In your case it's very important, the cost of cleaning the sperm from HIV can be very expensive and many times it fails and you need to do it again and you will know the final situation when the baby will be born.. Well, it varies from person to person, I believe. You can be HIV positive and never get AIDS. Since my friend got it I started to get involve in this and I volunteered in the HIV association in Israel for 1 year so I gained a lot of knowledge and many things became more clear to me. As long as you have the HIV under control (undetectable), it shouldn't be a factor in your overall health.
