Sister 9,907
I honestly do not feel that too many people actually insist upon this for Gaga, maybe only 20 to 30 people on this forum still do and I am not among those. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Those are arguments and solutions based on what i think people should do in the case Gaga doesn't make pop. That is not me being condescending. That is not me being condescending. The way I read it, it was a very condescending post. You were talking down to your audience. Your words were not argumentative, they were attacking. The only valid point you made was that Gaga should explore different genres. The rest just read plain rude to me.
HausOfNicole 177
The reality is Gaga built are fanbase on safe Dance-Pop songs. She has progressively moved away from the genre more and more with each album, but not enough for it to be a stark clash. This time around I believe she's going for something more honest and soulful, which is what she seems to have always wanted. I believe the reality is the Lady Gaga we started with isn't what's going to press forward. The more clear that becomes the more you'll see old fans move on and new ones develop. Personally, I welcome the change. I loved Gaga's first few albums, and believe they have a genius to them. But as I've matured I see the immaturity in the music itself (how she performs it is still amazing). She's also not 22 anymore. She can either end up like Jennifer Lopez or even Madonna to an extent, trying to keep up with the kids pushing out vapid pop songs, or make change. She has true musical talent, it's time that was on full display, even if that sacrifices the "bops" we've grown accustomed to.
