  1. 1. Just pick one from the artist you like the most if you have barely heard any of these before...

    • Thriller - Michael Jackson
    • 19/21/25 - Adele
    • Like a Virgin - Madonna
    • Unorthodox Jukebox - Bruno Mars
    • Confessions on a Dance Floor - Madonna
    • Purple Rain - Prince
    • Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen
    • The Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
    • Others (state down below)

Just to get a clearer idea of what the majority of Little Bottoms here want for the new album, because honestly whenever someone says that they want LG5 to have more piano-driven ballads, I'm terrified of it being like Adele's 21 or something...

More importantly another question: would you want LG5 to be softer, or have aggressive bops?

I'd be here for an album that sounds like 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust' because it would contain the perfect balance of catchy music and ballads while containing depth. It isn't considered "pop music" anymore because the landscape has changed a lot but it was the time, and as I said in another topic, I'd LOVE for her to redefine what pop can mean in 2016. Just like Bowie did. It'd also allow her avant-garde side to come through. I don't want an album that is similar to something Adele would record because that means we'll never get "Gaga" back aesthetically. I also can't imagine her fanbase tolerating a record like that after her affinity with jazz the past few years. My second choice would easily be a pop/rock album in the vein of Queen or Beck. It's not even practical to expect an album that is Madonna-esque after the comments Ronson made today but I'm perfectly okay with that! I just hope some of the other fans come around too.

Didn't think there would be an option I would like to choose, but ta-daa! I voted Dark Side of the Moon. Why not?

I wouldn't survive if Gaga made something like Confessions, but it won't happen :(. I think LG5 will sound like Born in the USA tbh. :madge:

I've only heard Adele's '25' and Madonna's 'Confessions on a Dancefloor' from the poll, but I really like them so I voted for them :nick:

I also wouldn't mind if it went down the lines of these albums:

- Teenage Dream

- Britney Jean

- FROOT

- 1989

- Peace is the Mission

:flutter:

I think a mix of soft songs and aggressive songs could be cool :excited2:

But don't you think Ziggy Stardust is a little too low-key for Gaga, for lack of a better term? I mean i realised many people here want LG5 to be inspired by the early to mid 70s, but I find the songs in that period to be very 'un-flashy', 'un-polished' and 'un-gaudy', which might be underwhelming coming from someone like Gaga.

No, because I'd expect her to modernize it and add her own spin. I find a ballad album just as lowkey, if not more so. I'd like her to be inspired by a lot of different genres and eras, not just the 70s, but I personally believe she can pull off a record like that. My suggestion was meant to be taken as potential inspiration for LG5 above all else.

But I purposely put it as hope/expect. It would represent both what the fans want and what the actual direction of this album most likely is. Blend them together, and you'll probably have GGD's version of LG5. :diane:

LMFAO no way LG5 going to be like Confessions...that album is a gem with pure EDM influence, EuroPop, and LG5 may be the opposite :laughga: , I hope we get a mature pop album like Confessions On A Dancefloor one day:giveup:

None of the above I was expecting something similar to Years & Years' Communion originally and I hope someday she will.
