Her music imo hasn't really matched up with her skill yet. She's a phenomenal singer but she's not done showing us what she's capable writing wise and if you feel that way then you're going to be sorely disappointed. The idea is to keep growing artistically. Proving her talent doesn't mean she has to have an album full of ballads, but it means she needs an album full of quality material that can stand the test of time. Something many monsters don't seem keen on. 

 

The statement about big pop songs was more so about her persona than anything. I don't think that means we're not getting a pop album.

I don't think what MR said mean it will be no pop, or dance music. What's the point of Gaga doing an acoustic album ballads? what's the surprise? The GP already saw that with C2C.

The surprise, or the twist would be in Gaga making an album full of honest and purely pop songs, produced with minimal electronics. This would be trully unexpected.

She did a lot of authentic songs on all of her previous albums so stop the meltdown...

Pop is wide, I'm glad she'll give us something fresh and new that's what she needs to be successful again, not doing the same thing all her career...

I could see her doing something like this. There are a few synths but it's mostly the band playing and a lot of good vocal harmony. 

 

I'd love something like that. But I don't know what to think anymore. Rock, metal, funk, ballads, pop..just stick to an idea

She was being honest and authentic, and she stuck to her guns in that she never changed her sound for her label. She's always been fighting back and forth with them. ARTPOP is not exactly authentic material, but I'm sure it means a lot to her.

Gagz changes her mind everyday. One day she say Acting is her main passion, then vegetables, than family and kids and then her fans. She always changes her mind, she feels conflicted.. just like before ARTPOP, we know she scrapped the whole album and did it again. I'm scared this is happening again

mark literally just said that unlike her previous records, this will be "authentic and honest."

Oh, no at this prediction.

Gaga will make an album that will be mostly present of acoustic songs, similar to 21. It will be critically acclaimed and have a #1 single, but will not be successful again. A new Jazz era will come shortly after.

Omg. Enough with the anecdotes guys. The album is clearly coming along nicely. The only thing I have to say about ARTPOP being dishonest and inauthentic is that it was pandering to her fans after she felt she alienated some during BTW. It's clear she wanted to put out something bright and happy but everything going on in her life was the exact opposite. It ended up being not true to herself as an artist. I still love the album though, but I'm glad this album will be very different.

The only thing I hate about this situation is that they know we are suffering yet they don't say a word. I mean, just say "it will come in two weeks, two months, next year". Just give us peace. Were in alert everyday and every minute for God's sake. It's really frustrating
