FATCAT 60,344
Everyone sat on I wanna be with you for months, and then got dope. Dope wasn't as personal to us. This kitten over here (meow)
Twitter 14
I would never understand the hate towards Dope it's so mature and spreads a positive message how Gaga loves her fans more than anything!
Gardevoir 9,901
I just appreciate this song even more right now. Production is wonderful. Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
Kim Kardashian 2,708
I'm not even going to sugarcoat it. Her vocals are crap. Shop SKIMS & SKKN BY KIM online! The Kardashians streaming now on Hulu and Disney+!

Exactly I'm not a ballad/mid tempos/slow songs type of person but there are some exceptions, unfortunately Dope isn't of them, I really can't get into it, maybe it's because it's too depressive & sad. ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
Church 849
people on here who assume that the fans who dont like Dope must be vapid & less capable of appreciating "deep" music are so stupid. some of us just dont like it. i don't like the vocals bc they cheapen it completely. it sounds so forced & like she's trying her hardest to sound like a beaten down druggie. the lyrics are average at least, part ripped off Bell Bottom Blues. i think it's probably one of her least honest songs. kiss kiss

Not that they can't appreciate it, just that they hate the "Dope voice" I love it though. My favorite thing about Gaga's voice is that she can dip into the lower ranges and singing this particular song with a drunken slur is just perfect imo That would've been great too. It's not exactly the same as what you're saying, but when I play and sing the song I change around the ending. After the second chorus, I play the little intro/bridge bit to IWBWY and sing a slightly different version of the chorus that draws from a few different performances of the song. Hide contents My heart would break without you I'd be so lost without you Been hurting low from living High for so long I'm sorry and I love you Stay with me Bell Bottom Blue I'll keep on searching for the answer 'Cause I need you more, you know I need you soooo mooore than dope I need you more than dope It's just the way I cope But I need you more than dope I need you more Love you more Than all the dope I smoke I still want to write a bridge or something but it's hard to come up with something that fits on the edge of cheesy and clever like the rest of the lyrics do a song writer I ain't. Someone here wrote an amazing bridge months ago but I can't remember who did it or what it was This will be awkward if it wasn't but I wrote a bridge for dope, it kinda walked through her career highs and lows? Or was it someone else www.instagram.com/theduella666

Miel 15,009
I see why people don't like it, but for me personally it's one of her best songs. I Wanna Be With You is sweet, but I connected to Dope on a much more visceral, terrifying level. Sometimes it's still too much to listen to. 3 points in and ready for more

Personal on a far more specific level than anything Born This Way gave us Dope isn't a blanket statement, it's a well aimed sniper shot right through the heart.
