IntoYou1 391
She pretty but she not original or creative.. Her music is the same , same beat , same lyrics and same gender .. She never experiment with new music.. She let other control her career.. She doesn't care about art and she doesn't write her own music.. Same music over and over.. Same producer and same old music she done before Roro

Haroon 49,685
Teenage Dream being on the chart for like 2 years and a half Majorly slow burner, and an amazing album too I would've thought One of the Boys would've done better because of how huge I Kissed A Girl and Hot n Cold were 9 minutes ago, Rod21 said: She pretty but she not original or creative.. One of the Boys is very different to Teenage Dream (which has many different sounding songs in itself), and then PRISM is kinda like Teenage Dream but with less of a candy-sweet feeling to it and deeper songs on the whole. She does write her own music, where did you get the idea that she doesn't? If you're judging her by her single discography then I can't disagree with you as much because not much is different except Thinking Of You (which she fully wrote ) and Unconditionally. Judging by her album discography and the non-singles I couldn't disagree more though

But I think she a basic singer with people who help her write her music , produce her sound and she just a ok singer .. With basic sound that she done before.. She never challenge her self to make creative and experimental album.. I love Lana deal Rey and lady gaga becuase they don't let people control their work .. They do everything.. Write her music , co produce it.. They have a vision on what they want for their career .. Idk if you inderstand what I'm trying to say Roro

Thinking of You is amazing, her best song to date. Glad to see she wrote it all by herself. But sad at the same time, because she wasted her potential just to have hits. Yes there are some bubblegum pop songs on each of her albums, but that doesn't mean that all of her albums are the same in the slightest Katy Perry is very involved with her songwriting, even Sia said so herself How do you know that people are controlling Katy Perry's work? How do you know that what Katy is doing isn't part of her vision? 6 minutes ago, LePetitMonstr said: This pretty much proves his point though. Her music is repetitive.
