Teenage Dream being on the chart for like 2 years and a half  Majorly slow burner, and an amazing album too  I would've thought One of the Boys would've done better because of how huge I Kissed A Girl and Hot n Cold were

Have you listened to her albums?  One of the Boys is very different to Teenage Dream (which has many different sounding songs in itself), and then PRISM is kinda like Teenage Dream but with less of a candy-sweet feeling to it and deeper songs on the whole. She does write her own music, where did you get the idea that she doesn't?  

If you're judging her by her single discography then I can't disagree with you as much because not much is different except Thinking Of You (which she fully wrote  ) and Unconditionally. Judging by her album discography and the non-singles I couldn't disagree more though

I like real artist  I mean I have never pay attention to her whole album.. Only singles but maybe you right.. But I think she a basic singer with people who help her write her music , produce her sound and she just a ok singer .. With basic sound that she done before.. She never challenge her self to make creative and experimental album.. I love Lana deal Rey and lady gaga becuase they don't let people control their work .. They do everything.. Write her music , co produce it.. They have a vision on what they want for their career .. Idk if you inderstand what I'm trying to say

All of this is really good, till you remember that she can't sing. She could be a talented songwriter tho. Thinking of You is amazing, her best song to date. Glad to see she wrote it all by herself. But sad at the same time, because she wasted her potential just to have hits.

Jja right and I'm not trying to hate on her , I just felt like she not a real artist and real artist deserve more success then her but oh well .. Life is not fair sometime

How do you know that what Katy is doing isn't part of her vision?
