Amazing singles get you GP support and GP support gives your era longevity and streaming and sales in singles, albums AND tours. Critical acclaim without GP affirmation will land her like Xtina. uhm have you seen the first version of the monster ball tour? because that tour proved she really doesn't need a massive budget for a good tour. so yes gaga does not need commercial success
MaybeKermit 5,031
YAAS SLAAAYY Why doesn't she perform Love Drought (aka the best song on LEMONADE) tho??

In fact I find the performances where she didn't have a huge amount of money to spend her most transporting and impressive. So yeah, I agree, that argument is just ridiculous. I am talking about the GP connecting with her music and thus translating to the GP buying tickets for her tour. More demand = more tickets sold = more shows, more legs = her reputation as a touring force is reaffirmed. @Didymus, too. Since I just saw your response. Again, my point wasn't about her needing money before the show, but her collecting money from her show. Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

She has been trying to rebuild her image and reputation because of all the toxicity the media was throwing her way ("She's over", "she's a flop", "she's desperate", etc.). I can respect your preference for smaller shows, though. But to deny the fact that reputation is not even a little bit important is naive. FATCAT 60,492
I really enjoyed the first 20-30 minutes of the show (from the full videos I saw on YT) but after a while, the screen effects and suspense-leveled audience play was a little boring. Great start, not so great throughout. Would still get tickets, no doubt. This kitten over here (meow)

I never expected to be so enamored with this project! I've even made a spreadsheet of her setlist to track each performance and learn which songs are part of the standard set and which ones are unique to each show (which is how I discovered the "Partition" performance from last night's Houston show). I'm 100% absolutely, utterly obsessed!! Hi! Could you post an updated version of your spreadsheet here please I went to the AMAZING show yesterday (hadn't looked up the setlist before with intention) and would love to compare now ^^
