Sister

I am not pressed, we have known all along that Gaga is Catholic. Gaga seems like a sweet girl and a genuinely kind person, this has been a constant as well.

I do feel like Gaga is leaning more on her religious roots lately and becoming more involved openly, due to her getting ready for her wedding and I believe that she takes the religious background in the sealing of a marriage and a lifetime commitment serious and wants to do it all properly and in the spirit of Love, ritual and the church. It's lovely.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

OOP. Turns out you were actually the pressed one, since you made an entire response thread about mine.

I know you and others here are crazy and defend Gaga's every action, being the Little Cupcakes you are, but it seems you were a a bit upset @ my thread, seeing you have commented, and then quickly after made this, and have twisted my words into me "being pressed."

In reality, I was just turned off, and I am turned off by her being so religious lately. That is NOT being pressed, and I never said she can't do what she wants. I'm just shocked she's still ***Catholic, because it seems she dropped that after the Born This Way era. Why do you think conservatives don't Stan Gaga and her views?

Also, it's religion's fault that homophobia exists. Everyone is taught it's a man and a woman BECAUSE of religion, and it's has had a an impact on society's standards, and thus where the hate for anything gay came from. It's just the tea.

So if you feel pressed someone doesn't Stan your religion and speaks out about it, don't shade OR come for people using their harmless freedom of speech, and especially keep that **** away from me.

Bye-GIF.gif

The fact you actually thought I implied she can't do what she wants.

Class A cupcaking, good job. :rockstar: I really do not care.

Lmao No i did not. I made this thread because of the negative comments members made in the thread about Gaga taking a picture with this priest.

This is really sad...

Exactly. Christians should follow Christ, and he was in no way homophobic, or judgmental, or intolerant, or hateful. I wonder why some of these hateful people call themselves Christians, since the very thing they're doing is spreading hate; exactly the opposite of what Jesus told them to. Mess. I'm gay,  and I believe in God. Not hate. Not judgement. Not prejudice. But God, and love. I don't fully support the Christian/Catholic church, though. They can be very messy and backwards.

You're only so proud because she's becoming more like you. If she started preaching hinduism your attitudes would change SO FAST because you don't agree with that religion. Which is why many of us feel badly about it. We don't feel any connection to the religion, and when she starts talking about it so much it feels polarising, distancing, awkward, uncomfortable.

Some of us fell in love with darkGa, and now it's becoming clear that she's never coming back, that she's going in the opposite direction, which is upsetting. It hurts to know that someone you love has changed so much in the very ways that made you fall for them in the first place.

Just put yourselves in other people's shoes for a minute. I thought good Christians were supposed to do that. And weren't supposed to find joy in other people's misfortune.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Being pressed over someone's religious freedom makes YOU the biggest hypocrite. Period.

If you have asked to be accepted for your sexuality, skin color, female/male rights, age, gender and body image....then YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE WILLING TO ACCEPT SOMEONE WORSHIPING GOD (or a lack thereof).

Gaga's fanbase is primarily composed from members of the LGBT community. When the LGBT community thinks about religion in any form they think about homophobia. As a Christian I can vouch that people who TRULY follow Jesus and abide by the Bible are NOT homophobic in the least. Sure, they may not agree, but they will never condemn or preach hate just to validate their God. FAKE CHRISTIANS however, completely disregard Jesus's proclamation of "Love everyone" and use the religion as a way to validate their inner psycho.

Gaga is a Christian who loves and accepts all people, and therefore is embodying the message of Christ. Jesus best displays this by standing up for the prostitute Mary by telling the people who were going to stone her,"He who is without sin shall cast the first stone"

I applaud Gaga for proudly displaying her faith in such a fakely "forward thinking"  and overtly sensitive society.

I dislike it, because what your faith is, is none of my business so dont shove it down my face when I am here for the music.

Also if by saying you abide the bible, that makes you a good christian.... OK then a good christian certainly ain't a good person considering you have read the bible. Sure the bible may preach about 'love thy neighbour' but have you read all of it?

Also I accept religious people, but I don't like the concept of religion. And the sooner it vanishes, the better. People need to start living in reality. Magic that will transport your soul to a place called heaven does not exist in this world.

Besides ever thought about if God was real and if he had so much power, it literally would take a small step for him to prove to the world he exists. Why wouldn't he do that? Why don't the stories in the Bible happen in real life at this moment, the contact with God and his followers?

And how do you have the right to say someone is a FAKE CHRISTIAN because they interpret the bible their own way. After all the bible is full of metaphors so you can't really blame a FAKE CHRISTIAN. The bible is not black and white. You talk about us being hypocrites, well look at urself. :saladga:

Also 'fakely "forward thinking"  and overtly sensitive society'... Who are you talking to here, though? America?

These comments lmao remember we are just fans of her music. That doesn't give us the right to control her religious views and how much she post about it haha. If she's not doing satanic looking things, is that bad? Oh well... I guess celebrities can't be religious lmao

May I Read You? 😎
