TRACKLISTING

1. Rebirth (Intro)- a brief spoken intro about her fight with depression, her sexual assault, and recovering from it

2. Rebirth- an ethereal synth-pop ballad about recovering from pain and becoming new again

3. God Willing (ft. Enya)- a slow ballad about fighting your demons and trying to get better

4. Room In My Heart- a rock influenced pop song about a lover who helps you recover from your pain

5. Eden- a synth ballad about happiness and joy caused by your lover

6. Beautiful Heart- a disco-pop love ballad about how incredible your lover is

7. Until I Die (ft. Florence Welch) An uptempo pop rock ballad (a mixture of You and I and TEOG) about being devoted to your loved ones until you die

8. Shadows (Don't Hide)- A synth pop song about being open to those you love and not letting anything get in the way of love

9. Standing in the Light- A disco/funk/pop songf about finding happiness and love

10. Chaos Angel- A dance-pop song with disco elements about being badass, unique, strong, and brave

11. I'm Not Sorry (ft. Kendrick Lamar)- a hip-hop/pop "**** you" to those who attack her artistic decisions (aka ARTPOP haters)

12. Carpe Noctem- A pop/rock uptempo ballad about seizing the night (sonically and lyrically very similer to Marry the Night)

13. Electric Lover (ft. Janelle Monae)- A hip-hop/pop/rock song about how your lover makes you feel (especially during sex)

14. Oncoming Storm- A disco-rok/pop song about people who underestimate her

15. Your Love- a pop/rock uptempo ballad about accepting the person you love completely

16. Truth- a rock ballad about learning to be completely open to Taylor

(Hidden Track) 17. Mrs. Kinney- a rock/pop ballad where she tells Taylor all the things she loves about him and expresses her love towards him

This is my edit and tracklist for Chaos Angel. The edit isn't very good because I don't have photoshop on my laptop right now but the basic idea is Gaga rising as an angel out of a devastated landscape. The tracklist starts with an intro about depression and her recovering and getting happier, these themes are continued throughout the first song. The first half of the album features ballads and slower more meaningful songs, the middle contains uptempo ballads similar to You and I and The Edge of Glory. The back half features pop-dance songs up until the last song which is an uptempo pop ballad. It also features a hidden track featured on the cd and vinyl which is in the form of a love letter to Taylor.I feel like the main themes of the album will be love and bravery so I tried to integrate that as much as possible.

What are your thoughts on it?

That's the actual point. I don't need something I've already heard.

Sizzily

The thing about Gaga tracklists is that the title (most of the time) is in the chorus. Some fan tracklists have conceptualized titles and that's nice, but they sometimes seem pretentious. I think Gaga just keeps the titles tight and with an essential part of the song.

But I do love your album cover. Something like that would be magnificent

God Willing is the only one that has major religious themes, the song Eden is more about how a lover makes you feel. I feel like there is bound to be some religious imagery with how much she has referenced it lately.

OMG this sounds very interesting! She might've actually written something like that for the next album. :excited2:

English isn't my mother language either

well, what exactly have you heard then? the theme 'religion' could be incorporated into music from different 'angles'

anyway, I prefer more the OP's tracklist mostly because it has a concept and it has a more or less order and a kinda fitting tracklist with the title
