That's a really rude thing to say, if they aren't smart then you aren't too cause you use the same weapons as them, being rude & narrow minded in this case. Instead you should accept the fact that some believe in God and if you personally don't it's totally fine but have a better use of words that won't hurt anybody. There's no denying all the good religion has brought to humanity. I will never deny that.

 

However, as someone who has survived two suicide attempts because of being made out to be the boogy man by an entire church congregation just because of his sexuality, I can say that it is important to call out these kinds of behaviors. Sure, saying all religion needs to die is as extreme as the points raised in the video, but do you not agree that the behavior encouraged by the JW's does not have a place in the 21st century? People are still dying every day.

Being a 'crazy psycho' doesn't mean you'd kill everyone, but I don't think being a psycho doesn't even have anything to do with religion. It can come out of not being loved etc. There are some crazy religious people and some crazy non religious people. 

People use religion as a way to handle their problems by praying, to answer questions and to make things easier by making god responsible. Religion was basically invented by Humans in the early years and got remodeled every 1000 years until it became what is getting spread today. Although it's like that, I am going to be honest and say that I do believe in a god, and I have my own relationship to him. I also think the bible is interesting but more because of the metaphorical messages it brings within. Saying that, I do think that people who preach the Bible or their Religious book do that, to find an explanation for things that are unexplainable and preach these, because they think it makes them a better person. But in the end, will anyone care if you read the bible 2-3 times or 100 times? In the Religious Books, it says 'God loves everyone' period. No matter what you did or what you didn't do, who you are, where you're from. Using Religion to justify anything that hurts someone else, is just pure ignorance and shows how blind people are to not see their problems or what they did wrong.

Of course I agree, that's what I'm addressing in the third paragraph. Their ideology is apalling. Religion needs to evolve but people like that keep dragging it backwards.

I was raised Fundamentalist Christian. 

This stuff hits a part of my brain that scares me, because I hated who I was for so so long. Now I'm openly gay, but it's not until I see stuff like this that I realise, 22 years of brain-washing leaves scars.

Even know I have moments of doubt. I see things like this and I get nervous, I start to doubt who I am.

One of my best friends is a jevohahs witness and she's (as well as her parents) have taught me a lot about the bible and there's a lot of good stuff in there, however there's stuff like this that I disagree with them on. I've seen the vast majority of these cartoons and the family portrayed in them is very nice 99% of the time. Tho I gotta say, this one left me with jaw dropped.

However, it's very clear to me that this is what the bible teaches. So don't tell me the Christianity isn't homophobic because it is.

Religion was created as a tool to control man, by man. It as absolutely astonishing that people in the year 2016 no not think it is utterly absurd that most people on earth believe there is a magical invisible man that sits on top of the clouds and grants you enteral happiness and paradise as long as you don't f*ck another dude.

The idea of "faith" is silly. If you actually think about it, you have to come to the conclusion that the belief in a god is just bizarre. Like if someone today were to say they were the son on God, everyone would ridicule them and cast them away. Yet for some reason, because Jesus Christ lived so long ago, people think he was legitimately the son of God. It makes no damn sense. 

It no longer has a place in this world. It is just a tool for divisiveness and provides a breeding ground of hatred, radicalism, and violence.
