Gaga should pull what Meghan Trainor just smartly did.

Tragically, Apple Music pulled a TIDAL yesterday, and LEAKED Meghan's new album 8 days before official release. Fortunately, she was able to release it a few hours early on Apple Music exclusively, and masked it as a surprise to her fans. 

I thought this was GENIUS, and Gaga should do the same with #LG5. She should surprise release it a week early to be streamable on Apple Music exclusively before official launch. It will stil be available everywhere as scheduled but this needs to happen tbh.

This will cancel any leak that ALWAYS happens in the week before official release, and she'll get extra money, plus it will be a good way to get them more customers. Gaga works with Apple Music too, so it's a good idea. 

What do y'all think?

I'm not here for streaming exclusives.  I would prefer Gaga to release her music across all platforms at the same time.  

Yes this method may prevent leaks but people will download illegally as soon as it hits Apple Music anyway.

They would download it illegally the day the leak came out, which Gaga can't benefit from.

But honestly, this is not a good idea for Gaga. She's a big artist and the album will be all over the internet and it'll be easier for people to illegally download it. In Meghan's case, she doesn't have a fanbase, so no one will be aware that her album leaked until it's officially released.

However, I think she can make it Apple exclusive the first week.

If it's released anywhere and a group of ppl doesn't have access to it, they'll pirate it, which will only take streams and sales away from her...if it leaks, just release it everywhere ASAP, so more ppl can have access to it in legal and accounted ways...

If it doesn't leak (and let's remember that an act as big as Beyoncé manages to keep **** from leaking, so it's not impossible), then just release it everywhere on the scheduled day...
