Ariana Grande (born June 26, 1993) is an Italian American singer, Televison and Broadway actress. Her accolades include two American Music Awards, Music Business Association's Breakthrough Artist of the Year, an MTV Video Music Award, two MTV Europe Music Awards and two Grammy Award nominations. She is the number one female Spotify streaming artist with over 1.5 billion streams. In 2016, Time named Grande one of the 100 most influential people in the world on the annual Time 100 list.

Ariana Grande began her career in musical theatre in the Broadway musical 13, before landing the role of Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon television series Victorious in 2009. The show ended after four seasons and Grande went on to star on the spinoff, Sam & Cat, which ended in 2014. In 2015 Ariana was a special guest star on Scream Queens. Ariana will be on Hairspray Live! the musical on NBC in December 2016.

Ariana Grande's music career began with the soundtrack Music from Victorious in 2011. She then signed a recording contract with Republic Records and released her debut studio album Yours Truly in 2013, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "The Way", reached the top-ten of the Billboard Hot 100.
