She chose to be in it well aware of the racial implications and when people called her out she claimed she had nothing to do with it. She refused to condemn the incident. Being an enabler is not any better than being a perpetrator, and please don't try to tell poc what racism looks like. We know what racism looks like. To address the hoodie comment, yes, she was speaking of a stereotype but then called the people who enforced it "well meaning white people". Why is she trying to excuse and pardon racism??? "well-meaning white people" is racist? She's HUMANIZING the people who get condemned for doing their job. She's NOT saying that what they are doing is right. She is saying that THEY believe they are doing what is right. They are not EVIL people. You speak in such hyperbole and generalizations. The first part of your post wasn't even worth addressing. You're talking about ****ing hot sauce here, not civil rights, and as I have already told you and SHOWN you she has carried it with her for a long time. This was just a joke done WITH black people for comedy. Try harder to get offended. In fact, try harder at everything. This conversation has been an exercise in futility. I've give n you counter points with FACTS on every statement and you haven't even mellowed out. That's how much you hate her. Just admit that you have irrational animus and we'll call it a day. It's comprehensive. Honestly that video is literally the only "proof" anyone ever presents, and it's so sensationalist that it makes the National Enquirer look like BBC. Also, why are you ignoring the fact that she was 100% pro-guns in 2008 but now is tryna bash Bernie for having even less of a gun stand than she had in 2008? Maybe because of the shift in cultural trends over the course of EIGHT years? The number of shootings and crimes due to guns in America have increased exponentially. A ****ing decade is more than enough time to change your entire opinion on people's rights to holding guns. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

I said that excusing RACIST white people by calling them "well-meaning white people" was not okay. Are you gonna deny that people who think the hoodie stereotype is valid are racist now? Why should we humanize them when they can't humanize us? Bye. And why does it matter if the joke was with black people? lmfao. Would it be okay if a white person said the N-word "as a joke" on stage because a black person was on stage with them? The **** out of here. Also, I'm literally mellow af. I'm not mad at her, I'm mad at people like you for treating her like she's a perfect white lady who is #woke, because she is not, and you will never be able to see that because you're not a minority. Just trust us on this one. I support Bernie but he isn't woke either, he's just better for poc. I'm not admitting to **** lol.

Racism is born out of ignorance not evil. They mean well, even when their actions are not acceptable. The point is to educate them. That's what Hillary was trying to do. You're referring to the Guatemalian, Hondurian, and Salvadorian unaccompanied minors who got here in the summer of 2014(?). Her statement: “We have to send a clear message, just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay,” she said. “So, we don’t want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey." And she's right. The US cannot support the World's poor, or those fleeing violence from various countries; we simply can't. And many of these children ended up being deported through RAIDS from ICE because they lacked proper documentations, legal proceedings, legal guardians here in the US, etc. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/social-issues/pre-dawn-raids-leave-us-immigrant-communities-paralyzed-with-fear/2016/01/08/5bdf664c-b412-11e5-a76a-0b5145e8679a_story.html 100,000 families! crossed into the US without proper documentation, and now many of them are facing deportations after they THOUGHT they got to stay here. In all brutal honesty, it is better to turn them away at the gate, than to turn them away after they have been here for roughly 2 years- with the assumption that they were gonna start a new life here. Ok, that makes more sense. I had not actually read her statement before. In the Univision debate they made her PROMISE to not deport children which is why I initially thought she was advocating deporting them with no mercy. However seeing the consequences of not deporting them does make her rationale more reasonable.
