Its not a huge city but that city is SOOO important for the whole country. If it goes... That's terrible! Mikey McCampbell

Teal Ambition 47,805
It's been on the news 24/7 here, this is terribly sad and I can't imagine how scared these people must have been driving away not knowing if they would come back to a home or not. ▌│█║▌║▌║ before I am Canadian, I am Chromatican ║▌║▌║█│▌
LadyGagasGodSon 413
I'm in the same province as this city, it's about 5-6hrs away from me. It's where Canada's famous oil sands come from! I feel so bad and upset about this as I know a lot of people who live and/or work in Fort Mcmurray, and I've visited it once. Accdg. to the news, about 18,000 residents will be evacuated to my city, the rest is dispersed to closer municipalities. The hard thing is, the highway that goes south towards my city had been blocked by the wildfire as well, so a lot of people either got stranded or are forced to head north instead. Some gas stations have exploded too, so many of those who are trying to flee ran out of gas and are stucked. This is indeed kind of like rubbing salt to a wound given that Fort Mac was just hit by hard by the oil and gas thing recently. I was just complaining about how it was +30 C in my city yesterday, meanwhile 2 neighborhoods in there literally burned to the ground smh. You are small men. You are not worthy to rule the Dothraki. That really stinks And I hate to sound selfish because a lot of individuals who live there are having their lives destroyed... But I worry that if the city is too damaged and disrupts the oil business that it will affect all of Canada. Oil is our biggest export after all. The blow to all of Canada could be huge if the city isnt back up and running ASAP. I hope the most crucial areas arent destroyed

While the oilsands and industrial areas would prolly be safe (I'm pretty sure they cleared forests and stuff for this or at least thats what I've seen in person and pictures but I might be wrong), the labourers and their dwellings are not. That would totally halt business operations. Especially since the entire city had been evacuated, and fires still flare up here and there today accdg. to news smh. I can't. No one really knows yet when people can go back and if they have something or somewhere to go back to. I found this really terrifying video too: I can't even imagine how the people escaped You are small men. You are not worthy to rule the Dothraki. Teal Ambition 47,805
From Sunday to Wednesday, wow Now they're saying only the weather will be able to slow down the fire.
