Gwen Stefani Was SO Ahead Of Her Time!

I've noticed that just lately loads of new music is very reminiscent of the L A M B sound of the mid 00s. I listened to L A M B the other day and it almost sounds brand new.

Songs like Cheap Thrills by Sia, One Dance by Drake and Better by Meghan Trainor all seem to have the same beat as rich girl just at slightly different paces. It feels like Gwen could have released L A M B 12 years later and it would still sound brand new, do people agree with what I'm saying here. I love the songs I mentioned above so I'm not trying to shade anyone I'm just saying loads of new songs sound very 00's Gwen esque Imo!

I thought it was time for a nice Gwen related thread before she appears on the late late show today doing the car pool karaoke.

Gwen did have a very distinct and fresh sound. Major contribution to music.

while we're on it, a fave of mine:

L.A.M.B. was probably the biggest trend setter in pop music during the 00's. WYWF, RG and HG were kinda like Just Dance and Poker Face in 2009. They literally changed the game :applause:

Dancehall, island pop and reggae have been around forever, Gwen wasn't the first and wasn't gonna be the last one to use them. It wasn't even the first time she did it. No Doubt was literally a ska/reggae/pop/punk band.

cute

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.
