In fact, Katy Perry (oops) was much talked about on fashion blogs for wearing latex all through 2010: This is Gaga in 2008/2009

Besides, I already gave you the Britney example and you said it didn't count Hello, that Britney catsuit is like 100% similar to Gaga's early latex outfits And no, the last two looks are from 2010. Stop trying. Latex is not something Gaga brought to the table or even to public consciousness.

From the pictures I posted this is very clear. Once again, Britneys is just a simple latex outfit. And I posted Born This Way's because they look more similar to Beyonce's

And she didn't stop there, she wore this to the 2004 VMA's: + there's this iconic Britney look: So, no, you lost and that's final.

They still like the regular latex outfits people wore before Britney. Gaga's version are truly incorporating latex to art and high fashion though. Like, so you're saying that latex can be applied to regular street fashion as well? Tell me the last time you saw a fashionista walk down a street in a latex catsuit. I think latex suits are quite a fashion statement in general. Please support your arguments with actual examples and not just bland statements that don't hold water ("Regular latex outfits people wore before Britney" - what people? Where?) If anything, Gaga is the last person to incorporate ANYTHING into high fashion. She just buys sh*t from designers and wears it. She will NEVER be a fashion designer - she said it herself. She may be a muse to designers or a person who supports fashion, but saying that by being a muse to them she influences fashion is quite of a reach, actually. I've told you before: latex has been in fashion for years, and Gaga may have brought some high fashion latex wear to (only a few) events, but that does not mean Beyoncé's inspired by her, since, clearly, Beyoncé could also have been inspired by all the countless runways and fashion magazines that have featured latex for decades Besides, there are so many pre-Gaga red carpet latex looks gurl pls There was even a latex leggings craze that thank god has disappeared. Some famous ones: Just give it up tbh.

Well, Gaga was once of the first in mainstream world. And obviously she does not design them, but she pushes these underground looks in the the mainstream. Gaga was clearly one of the first in mainstream to showcase these. Also I am not saying that Beyonce was inspired by Gaga either.

Well, that's where we are now after me and some others have proven to you that there was nothing new about those looks you posted in the OP and that "Born This Way" had no impact at all where you see it. Now you just changed the subject because you couldn't win You said Gaga's OP looks were ahead of the time. That claim has been successfully disproven, so let me stop granting you ways to avoid the core of the matter: your OP is 100% wrong.
