If you live in a world where only pop music exists, maybe.

But if you live in the real world, then no.

Lemonade is not pop music :gaycat:

Nope. I don't know what is 'cause I haven't listened to all the albums I should've listened to, but it sure isn't gonna be Lemonade :smh:

It might be because I've listened to Born This Way 100 times or smth. But I really feel like these albums can't even be compared.

Btw there is a REASON why this album got 93/100 on metacritic...It's not the Beyonce-r&b boppy style..And it's normal for people that just like some dance music to bop to to not be crazy about this album..

Yeah, the REASON is that if you don't say it's the best thing that ever happened to music you get branded the racist Becky and people are literally scared to say they don't like it. Like I've seen people being reported on social media or being forced to make their blogs/accounts private because they dared to not like Beyonce. Kudos to her marketing team and her crazy fans that finally managed to take the first place for being the most unhealthy dedicated fanbase from the twitter monsters...

That's the problem with you guys...it's never "ok" or "not my thing".
Everything is "THE BEST FKN ALBUM OF THE CENTURY" or  "THE VERY WORST THING TO EVER COME THROUGH MY FREAKING EARS HOLES!"...and that attitude is just so puerile. I remember the very same comments being made about 1989, 25, Anti...

Lemonade is very good, but it's so early to deem it anything other that...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Umm it's racist to say that you like an album just because it is from a black artist :emma: I get what you mean but the album is great anyway

I haven't really called any other album the best album the decade though :laughga:

It's a good album... Not the best album of the decade... "Born This Way" and "21" are slightly better tbh.

It doesn't matter, the attitude right now is the same.
Just calm yourself down. :madge:

Of course not lol, but Beyoncé released an album full of pop and rnb, with a country/blues song and a few other influences like trap, rock and hip hop.

I didn't see anything experimental about it. I think Lemonade is a good album. It's solid, it sounds good... but people act like it's so innovative. I just don't get it

Well it IS VERY innovative for a maistream album to have that sound. It's obviously not a NEW sound or smth. But for mainstream music it is very experimental..
