Anyway, she promised (*alarm bell*) that she'd release some original jazz songs. Then again, she also promised she would make one jazz album per year for the rest of her life. So yeah. Usually composers write the songs for them. The role of the jazz artist is not only to sing the songs, but to also interpret them in their own way as well as improvise. That's why you have so many versions of a single jazz song. Hell, even specific performances would be slightly different 'cause of improvisation. Gaga and Tony (as well as the band and solo artists) did all those things perfectly well on the album and on tour. She's just being a classic jazz artist. Take my hand. Stay, Joanne.
