Why aren't main pop artists releasing videos in 4k quality?

I've been wondering about this for a while  like.... why can a local act like Serebro can afford to upload videos in 4k quality while the more global / popular ones release only with 1080p quality at most? (maybe there are few exceptions , but haven't seen so far)

The pop artists have something to hide, they don't want us looking too closely at them, 4k offers superior views when you zoom in, and they don't want us to see all the things they use to trick us into thinking they are beautiful, etc.

Because 4K is still useless. Not every device can support it and why bothering in making it 4K when 1080p is enough for most devices? 4K TVs are still expensive and 4K on a phone screen makes the sames results as 1080p because they're little screens and you can't see pixels. I have a 2K phone (LG G3) and I can't tell the difference. Even 480p looks good on small screens. And same happens with computer screens. There aren't enough PCs spread that have a 4K screen and watching a 4K video on a 1920x1080 screen is the same as watching a 1080p video. Also internet connection in some countries is not fast enough. If the whole world had 50" 4K TVs they would've done it already, and also 3D TVs that were a flop. If videos are high budget, they film in 4k with pro cameras that are used in cinema too, so maybe in the future they will update them. Even movies from the 60s can be ripped in 4K from the films because they weren't digital

Some of it is directors choice plus there isn't a need for it. Hardly anyone has devices that would benefit from 4k videos.

Y'all calling 4k pointless... It's not like the lover Quality selection for a video won't be available anymore plus you can also have a strong device where you can play the videos in that quality and enjoy that quality (I remember seeing once in a shop on tv a scenery on a tv in 4K quality and looked so flaw-free and real  )

I mean it couldn't hurt if they gave us 4K option because it will become a standard once, I wish Bad Romance was higher quality
