I get what you're saying here, but her breaking her hip had nothing to do with ARTPOP, except prolonging it. It was her who scrapped the whole concept of the blonde pop star and start over from scratch, within an allotted amount of time, which is why we got beats lifted from producers and nothing from the heart from her. Ap sounds rushed because it was because she scrapped everything before it. 

The lable isn't here to fulfill and artists vision wholey, they're here to make money, and know what's best to reach the widest audience, and that's what they were trying to do, and will continue to do. No, gaga isn't a cash cow, but give me PF over Venus any day (her label called it correctly choosing DWUW over venus)

I only care that she is happy.  If she retired, got married, had kids, I would be happy for her.  If she continues to release music, I hope its the genres and collabs she wants to do, not what somebody else wants her to do.  She's an artist, not a commodity, and artists follow their own creative visions.  To me, 2015 (and some months before and after) was her greatest year because she got to do what she loves.  She performed tributes to people she loves; Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Julie Andrews, David Bowie, and others.  She loves jazz and she got to do it.  She got to showcase her talent at the Super Bowl and other special occasions.  And during this period she when has done no pop she has still been winning plenty of awards, and maybe for things that are more gratifying to her than recognition for a pop song or album.

Yeah, this break has been quite long, but I think that we will see that it will have been for the best. Gaga has done so much in a relatively short amount of time. When it seemed like an album cycle had just ended, she went straight into planning and working on the next one. She's finally been giving herself time to unwind after everything that's happened throughout the years, and she's working at her own pace. That's not something that she was able to do with ARTPOP. This break will likely have been best for her both emotionally and creatively. Our patience will be rewarded. Gaga's not over.
