The most part is crucial, tho. Unfortunately there will always be these loud fans hyping the sh*t out of everything with their YAAASSS-es (I mean I get it when they joke about it, but there are people among them who actually believe the crap).  So only the thought of the threads full of delusional stans is making me appreciate it she is keeping silent. The little complainers are also annoying, and so are those who make separate threads to preach them they are ungrateful blah blah. But the hype threads are easily the worst. And even if you try to calm them down for their own sake, they show teeth immediately and come at you with comments like "Leave me and let me be delusional and hype myself to new heights." 

So yeah I know the idea of Gaga updating us in a more open wat is good, I'm not here for the twisted logic of some Monsters. If she said "What a great week!", this would be translated as "OMG, LEAD COMING THIS FRIDAY, CONFIRMED!111!!! " If she made it clear " The album is not coming in the next 3 months for sure" fans would be bookmarking the first Friday in 3 months time as the release date... 

As a side note, I absolutely support you in your feelings about thread contents. This is a prime example of how disfunctional we are. I literally just read someone suggest to listen to ANTI and Lemonade and another one took it so personally that said he/she'd rather commit suicide.  Maybe just skip the comment next time? Then there's the one who thinks his lifestyle is superior to everyone else's. So we need to go outside, get a life, and what not, cause that adds SO much to the topic. There's the random guy with the Napoleon complex, who never fails to remind the rest how he is the TOP we dream of, and we should presumably feel bad as we are "little bottoms".  Then, another one who always need to be en contra for the sake of being en contra.

I say to all these people - get a grip okay? Can't you see that the forum's been transformed into a stinky trash catwalk for recycled gifs demonstrating an attitude, and no one actually cares to discuss something in depth. It's just the usual throw shade, bash someone. And we could do SO much better. 

 This is wrong on so many levels. Gaga was THIRSTY to share new music on the Swinefest. How can you name the highlight and arguably the best performance of the ARTPOP era as a mistake? I agree it was bad for fans that they heard half of the album before the release, and the studio versions ended up sounding inferior, but the concert was pure magic. 

Exactly. I'm glad people are seeing it from my perspective aswell now. Because everyone takes the OP as a joke, just because he isn't happy with something. So they have to f*ck up the thread with bullcrap that doesn't associate with the topic I'm discussing about. And honestly, I have been very calm and stated my opinion in a fair way. 

How many comments have been made here that totally made NO sense at all, and people do keep liking the posts because it is " funny ". I can't even use the -serious- tag because else I would have been getting a WP, because this is probably not even a serious issue for the mods here. While it is for me. 

And users here think that I'm wanting some sort of hype, while in my case, I don't get hyped at all when such little information is being told. I would just be happy to know something at least.

see im actually cool watching her perform jazz and do covers, they've been magical. its at least MUSIC related. unlike some of the other ventures shes been involving herself in. its just getting to be a bit much, all these side projects that shes CLEARLY doing to just pass the time. i dont even mind waiting for her album.

people have this odd fascination with quick art, this misconception that if it was made quickly, then that some how makes it better. "oh i wrote _____ in 15 minutes" its like ??/ imagine how much greater something could be if it was thought out, how profound the end result could be if one scratched a bit deeper into the surface and didnt accept the first any ole thought that came to mind, but to have the self reflection to say "no, its not good enough i know i can do better" .

Ofcourse! Gaga needs 2,5 years to create some hi--. Oh wait, I forgot about the succesful EP The Fame Monster and album Born This Way differing from eachother 1,5 years or LESS in release. I clearly know nothing, educate me professor. 

You can have a meaningful and strong hit in a matter of a couple days, it's how you do it and end up making it. 

But tell me!! Educate me, on how much you know about music!! Because every user here is the same, we all have the same expectations!! We all can wait as long as you could wait!!! (!!!!!)

Yeah but this is not the Gaga everyone stans for. Who ever became a fan during the C2C era? I'm okay with that  era and she did it perfectly in every aspect but she needs to stop and take time to work harder on the new album. She's been recording for a long time now and... nothing. What's the point of not hyping new music when she's doing other stuff? If she wants to surprise people, she needs to calm down and focus.

This post proves that you know even less than what I initially thought. First of all you have to know that all creative processes are different, and to be fair, a year and a half for most musicians is nothing (Musicians, not singers).

Plus, I'm sure gaga is pressuring herself to come up with something amitious this time. She needs that, so she needs time.

omg don't get me wrong I LOVED swinefest, the magic throughout the whole thing was something I will never forget, I streamed it live and I was crying, laughing, smiling, overwhelmed and joyful all at the same time..

HOWEVER, the "smart" thing to do would have been not to preform half of the album 2 months before it came out or a second single got chosen (2nd single was chosen in october....) it just didn't make sense, it was SO spaced out and everyone (including little monsters in my opinion) was over it already like the GP was d-o-n-e

but yeah as i said, i love the swinefest and to this day one of my fave performances from her, especially during ARTPOP song, her smile was so genuine.

Hey! New here from New Zealand I have been quietly reading threads and can't agree more with some of your comments. Personally, regardless whether or not she posts anything related to LG5 I'm just happy to be able to keep updated with her life through Instagram posts. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thirsty for some sort of material realting to new music, but I know its coming at some point, whether that's 2 or 4 months away.

On the one hand, I acknowledge how both Born This Way and ARTPOP were overhyped beyond belief and can see how this affected their performance.

On the other, the lack of Gaga doing anything I'm interested in has made me start losing interest in her.

I believe Gaga is very afraid of how her new material will be judged. It's make it or break it time. If she doesn't manage to have a hit and good sales, she'll never be big as she used to be. She'll remain relevant but more in a "Cyndi Lauper way" than in a "Madonna way".

She's working on her album. We're not used to her keeping quiet because she likes to tease (and obnoxiously over-hype), but I'm proud of her for keeping it locked in so far. I'm sure that push came from Bobby. She can't pull off that slow hype thing anymore, she's not zeitgeist level famous atm. She'll reel in much more success dropping her album randomly on a Friday no one was expecting, and leading with a fun and happy single that gets people moving. Let her do that plz
