He didn't say what I thought he did, so everything is hypothetical. If he had said something as stupid as "over my dead body" I would have made fun of him for saying that. It's completely normal to think about death when you are not close minded and specially when someone is that old and has the possibility to be a president for 8 years.

This isn't a "Hillary vs Bernie" opinion or joke. I don't like neither of them and I don't care who gets elected as long as it's not Trump or Cruz.

At the end of the day, Bernie should support whoever the Democratic party nominates.  Sorry, but being a sore loser only helps the GOP in the end, and the GOP wants to **** all over every single cause Bernie and Hillary have been fighting for through the past few decades.  

If he loses these next primaries, he needs to face up and accept defeat.  I was a Bernie supporter but at the end of the day, I'm voting for the democratic agenda.  I think all democrats and like-minded individuals need to take a serious look at what we are up against... tell me, do you believe in changing the political system that much that you'll risk losing years of progress and innovation such as gay marriage, abortion, etc?  Is boycotting Hillary worth the loss of gay marriage, education funding, diplomatic foreign policy and what is left of our pride in the United States?

Not even close.  Establishment and non-radical conservatives hate him, just about all prominent republicans are campaigning against him.  If he wins the nomination, he will alienate much of the party.  

Also, if he loses the nomination, the majority of the voting republican party will become deeply disenfranchised in not only the political system, but the party.  I think they stand much less chance to unite their party, either way.

I dont think this is as active of a statement as everyone seems to think. I'm CERTAIN that he knows Clinton is the next best candidate other than himself and is LEAGUES above TRUMP, but his entire campaign and platform while on the same side generally, IS against Clinton and her history and connection with certain groups and corruption in politics. It'd be entirely hypocritical of him to come out and say "Go vote for Hillary" or something as blatant as that. I'm sure he will give some sort of statement about how the revolution isnt over and that his supporters can push for Hillary to swing further to the left on certain key issues, which is really for the best imo. She will have to appeal moderately, but will probably end up as progressive as Obama became if not more... at least that's what I see happening. The millions of bernie supporters will not stand for anything less. It IS up to Hillary to say to the millions of then undecided voters (though lets be real, most bernie supporters who are not bandwagoners/"berniebros" already KNOW Hillary is the next best option by far  ) that her views match theirs. I don't see  many people just like voting for Trump OVER Hillary who were on the Bernie side, unless they are as privileged to give 0 ****s about social politics  

He will support her. He might not go freaking campaigning on it to appease his supporters or w.e, but he won't just leave it up in the air with what is basically a middle finger to Clinton or w.e

A audience member who said he backs Sanders' candidacy asked the senator whether he will encourage his supporters to back Clinton if she wins the nomination.

During a town hall with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Monday night, Clinton said that during the 2008 election, she did not set "conditions" for supporting Barack Obama.

"We got to the end in June and I did not put down conditions. I didn’t say, ‘You know what, if Sen. Obama does W, Y, and Z maybe I’ll support him," Clinton said. "I said I am supporting Sen. Obama."

"I hope that we will see the same this year," she added.
