Morphine Prince 105,621
Lmao. People get so upset when others showcase pride for their culture. Typical white man.
Slayer 9,227
This reminds me of that '7 Things Gaga Should Do With LG5' article... White men trying to silence female pop stars, telling them they shouldn't sing about anything important because they're not important as artists. Nobody - NOBODY - takes issue with Kanye or Jay Z talking about the same freaking issues in their music. It's just pure, unabashed sexism. That's all it comes down to. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

All this time Jay-Z was having an affair with Piers Morgan and now he's pissed that he's been exposed! Best fanfic ever! ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Illuminati 15,921
I see no lies in the article, it's no coincidence she chose a trendy sore topic as an influence for Formation and Superbowl performance cause it guarantees media attention and exposure needed for a new album, especially since it's quite hard to top a success that BEYONCE was. But at the same time she has every right to release music that's heavily political if she wants to and if that's what she believes in, which could be a whole different discussion as we know her lyrics or film poetry were mostly written by others. I liked Lemonade and I support her career direction but whether you want to admit it or not the key reason this album is not about anything else that could be as important as this is because her elevator story caused a lot of media attention and a couple of songs referring to it in BEYONCE proved to be worth heading this direction success wise. It's so hard to have an unpopular opinion about Beyonce cause I can guarantee someone here will VIOLENTLY disagree with me.

If someone uttered the words "typical black man/woman" on this site, I'm pretty sure the servers would burn down to the ground. You have an obvious bias where you think white men are ignorant. If there was a thread about gang violence and someone said "typical black man" you would have been POUNCED on... Exhibiting reverse racism at it's f*cking finest. A sh*t ton of people jumped on Gaga when she hoped on the LGBT support wagon randomly, as they will also be skeptical that Beyoncé started THIS late in her life to start making music about race. It's fishy.

It's fishy. Lol I knew someone would react to that line. It is a bit uncalled for however Piers is displaying that typical attitude where they don't like black women expressing themselves. I see it over and over again. So annoying. And yeah Gaga got **** too. Probably because she's a woman. Those two things go hand in hand.

It sounds like you're saying Beyoncé should be protected from criticism from anybody that isn't a black cis gendered female mother... The fact of the matte is, is that Morgan is a super liberal who is neither racist nor misogynistic. He's a critic, and his job is to criticize and be skeptical. I know but I personally find it annoying that whenever women are expressing themselves someone just comes out saying they liked "the older" version of themselves. Yeah, you liked her because she was a conformist. She didn't make you think and didn't question your position in society. Piers Morgan is so shitty sometimes. Right so you're telling me that it's totally normal that she made no political statement with her artistry for decades and when she does it this year randomly we aren't allowed to question her motives?
