Far superior of anything put in the last 6 years in musical and visual way. Dont come at me that indie artist did it better. This idea has been a long time on music industry minds, but noone ever thought of making it like that and present it to the world. There is cohesion between the music videos, there is a storytelling ****ING GENIUS melting them more into a story of Black proud woman facing society, husband, gender. parents, future goals. The real reason Lemonade feels like a success is that this masterpiece was crafted around Beyonce and a creative team, pushing the envelope of music industry standards even further. Art is more about the execution of the idea. Hundreds of songs have been made for drugs, sex and feminism, but only a few shined through. A musician is the medium of a director and a song producer and the other way around. Without Steven Klein Alejandro would nt look like that. I have worked with him. Without Nick Knight Born this Way wouldn t look like that. Without Red One Bad Romance wouldn t sound like that. You are talkiing about people making material for them when Gaga has Haus of Gaga ??? I don't care who you've worked for, Haus of Gaga doesn't sit in circles around a campfire ****ing writing her music for her, she does it herself. Genius is having intellectual or creative power yourself, not having other people think for you. So sure, tell me i'm delusional; but don't kid yourself with thinking this album is anything special. There's also barely one memorable melody in the whole thing. Kudos to the team for not playing it safe, but this is an album that I respect more than I actually enjoy.
