they dont charge a percentage like catholic church. I went once to one of their meeting with my witness aunt and they have contribution boxes in corners where people donate voluntarity...

 

Also they must spend a fortune to print all their stuff and build all those new Kingdom Halls they keep building

 

Also their Ministers are not payed. They work like everybody else then volunteer some of their time to run the stuff

 

maybe im a little biased cuz i have witness family. But of all the religions they seem to be the least about money. Any contributons they get seem to be all spent in spreading what they believe jn

My grandparents are apart of 'the truth' too but sadly it caused a divide in the family that we continously have to work on.  They are the nicest and kindest people but I just cant agree with some of their logic and 'belief'. 

Unfortunately all religion is profitable. As for Jehovas Witness' they typically will provide their time, money and energy to their faith, others will often leave assets or properties to the Kingdom Hall.  

They don't typically spend money,  all the work is volunteered,  the printing and production is typically ran in-house and isn't costly.  

Donation boxes dotted around also bring in a pretty penny on top of the masses they're already taking in.

Jehovah's witnesses? You know those ppl who knock on your door and they try to preach you about bible stuff. Many find them annoying because of what they are doing especially that door-to-door thingy. I know some of them and they're actually nice ppl but that's it. I don't want to talk to them about the Bible. Though, I accept some of their magazines but most of the times I don't read it, maybe I just don't want to come off as rude to them.

Well, this is just interesting for me. I wonder what if I was in situation where I was going to be preach by him. I wonder what would be my reaction if i saw him knocking on my door and try to preach me about the Bible omg...

Michael Jackson did the same thing and was also one of Jehovah's Witnesses, but if I recall he had to preach in other means cuz people easily recognized him

I read the article I posted on the op and Prince actually did the door to door thingy and after he preached the lady told him he looked like Prince lmao. I would probably say the same thing if I was the lady smh.

Yes but it was good to hear he took his beliefs seriously and preached and studied the Bible till his dying breathe. At least he had the hope of the earthly resurrection and wI'll be brought back to life in a Paradise

I love when i open th door to Jehovah and give them a run for their money. Well i haven't read the bible in a long time.

It's very surreal, i prefer to ignore those beliefs. How does that come about? Religion is such a strange thing. It's even stranger when smart people are into it.
