VANTABLACK 7,793
even though born this way to me is a masterpiece. ARTPOP has a special place in my heart. I bought 5 physical copies. First time when I met gaga she signed my album cover of ARTPOP. And it's the most played album in my car. Plus it's the perfect cure for a hangover in the morning. The Adrenaline is REAL and infectious. Dw the basics will appreciate it 10 years from now. And the impact it said had on bringing art in the forefront of album releases these days is undeniable. Yikes, bit of an attitude. I'm not claiming it's a masterpiece purely because it's old, it genuinely is a masterpiece and the best album I've ever heard, it still sounds fresh 30 years on. I suggest you listen to it if you honestly believe ARTPOP is a masterpiece. It isn't even her best album. Now get on Spotify and stream it fat Put your white tennis shoes on and follow me

Y'all are blinded by sales I often see albums trashed when they don't sell well. It happened with Christina Aguilera's Bionic album, and Estelle's All of Me album. Both were fantastic. I can understand why fans like ARTPOP, but I don't like the album. I honestly find it to be her weakest album to date. The Fame was decent with a few standout tracks. The Fame Monster was a masterpiece. Born This Way was somewhat chaotic with only a few standout tracks. ARTPOP is completely chaotic with no standout tracks. I simply don't like ARTPOP and it has nothing to do with sales. I find the album to be horrible. I wouldn't even say it sold poorly. It didn't sell as well as expected, but it didn't completely flop. Same!! It's the most played Gaga album in my phone, I don't even listen to TFM as much as I listen to ARTPOP. It gives you such good vibes and lifts up your entire mood Agreed, many people dislike the album just because it failed to sell over 6 million copies so they carved into their brain that it was a bad album. You can clearly start to see many artists right now are starting to go the more artsy and experimental route I Met Lady Gaga On February 7th, 2016; Attended Superbowl 51 and Coachella 2017. ARTPOP is incredibly well planted in terms of its message with just a few flaws. its one of her most sturdy concepts
Ferrer Zorola 3,966
I'm SURE it would be another story if ARTPOP had sold tons of copies in other words, y'all are some hypocrite bitches LIFE IS GOOD
OmgSum1Actually 3,041
Well ARTPOP is an unfinished painting in my opinion, a good album, but feels like something is missing and I can't really relate to this album, some may say that you don't have to relate to art, but I strongly believe you do need to relate to it in a way, still at the same time I don't want to so relatable, yay T-Swizzle ARTPOP is about sex, fame, drugs and fashion and I don't really relate that much to those things Aura fame Venus sex G.U.Y. sex Sexxx Dreams sex Jewels n' Drugs sex, drugs, fame MANiCURE sex Do What U Want sex ARTPOP fame Swine sex, drugs Donatella fashion Fashion! fashion Mary Jane Holland drugs, sex, fame Dope drugs Gypsy Applause fame But I do think that there are masterpieces on ARTPOP, such as Aura, Venus, DWUW, ARTPOP, Applause and I don't relate to those songs, but I love them... I find Gypsy to be the only relatable song on the album but executed poorly I wouldn't something a la Taylor Swift, but I think she went too far into world of fantasy with ARTPOP Shameless selfpromo

DrKindnessKunt1999 6,062
I LOVED "ARTPOP". It's one of Gaga's best work. Don't get me wrong, people could have opinions on the album, but it seems like most people hate "ARTPOP" for no reason. Spoiler AKA "ARTPOP" got hate for superficial reasons like sales and also things that Gaga didn't have control for like candeled projects and last minute changes. Spoiler Oh yeah and I like "ARTPOP" better than "The Fame Monster". FIGHT ME!!
Harry 26,836
I do love ARTPOP and appreciate it for what it is. I went to the tour twice and they were both nights that I'll never forget. But I can't deny that as a whole it was pretty disappointing and a drop in quality for Gaga. That's not to say I still don't enjoy some of the songs. Aura, Venus and DWUW are some of my favs by her. But as a whole, I think she can do much better. I wouldn't ever consider it a masterpiece myself.

Plus the world would have not appreciated this godly ass, without it
