How big of a role should the LG5 alter ego have?

Over the eras Gaga has created a lot of iconic alter egos to go along with her albums and songs, and some played a somewhat big role, some were just there, and some were just a souvenir of a scrapped idea. One thing I've noticed throughout all of her personas is that she doesn't ever go through completely with them. She always introduces them and explains a little about them, but the farthest we've ever gone with one is Candy Warhol and Jo Calderone, and they didn't have a huge impact on the feel of The Fame/Born This Way. In my opinion I would love to see her fully go through with one of her alter egos, and maybe even make an album with all of the videos she releases within that era being connected through that alter ego.

Jo Calderone was the only alter ego that the GP knew about, because of the 2011 VMA appearance, but all she did with him was put him in the video for Yoü and I, a song which she admitted wouldn't be one of her big hits. 

Candy Warhol was big within the community, and she is still talked about today, but she was left to stay in the beginning videos for The Fame Ball and never really made any progression

Venus's aura was seen a lot through the ARTPOP era, through her outfits and that huge wig, but she didn't even make an appearance in the music video

Mary Jane Holland was talked about in the digital booklet, and was given a nonsingle song...thats about it

Yüyi had such good potential to be the one persona that stood out by being in the video for TEOG and Y&I and being one of Gaga's most iconic looks, but then the director left and it all went to Sh*t and just made people confused with the fragments of what we got of her

And then there are the potential alter egos that could have been big, but were just referred to as Lady Gaga so thats as far as it could go, like her in The Paparazzi/Telephone videos and Mother Monster in Born This Way

My point being she never went very far with them, and I think that she should with LG5. If she made her alter ego appear throughout the whole era, and maybe do a performance on a huge show, like Jo Calderone, then I think that would 1. Get the media and GP to start talking about her again 2. Make the Little Monsters feel like the Gaga they know and love is back

2. Have a few alter egos to go along with songs, but not have a huge role in the album

3. Have no alter egos at all

4. Expand on/Revive her old alter Egos from Past Eras

This one. The thing about her characters is that they're always some outward expression of some part of her or something she wants to be. Mary Jane Holland was her at her most free, for example...not sure if that rule applies to Jo Calderone, though, I think that was literally just something neat she did for You and I

I feel she's comfortable with being herself and not needing all that extra stuff now. At least that's the vibe I'm getting
