So a shut-in isn't someone who never go out or is there a new definition for it?

You asked why the term "little manager" is used as an insult and I answered. If you identify as one then that's your problem boo boo.

I don't think it's an actual insult. It's more like a joke for being a know-it-all in terms of Gaga's career. :laughga:

It is easier to talk than to actually do it, hunty. Trust that many of these suggestions were similarly done by another singers already, and not all of them get successful. It's showbiz, you either get really big or going nowhere.

And all we are doing is taking and still getting **** for it. That's why I made this thread. People need to chill and realize Gaga's career has a serious business aspect of it.

Lord Temptation

Because I never want to tell Gaga that she's not good enough, not rich enough, not successful enough, not pretty enough.

Being a Little Manager >>>>>>>>> a Little Cupake who thinks she can do no wrong tho

I'm a Little Cupcake who does no wrong and believes in "music, not the bling" :gaycat:

I use "Little Manager" as a term of endearment if anything. There's lots of different types of fans/stans. Some, like me, love to study the music at a very detailed level learning about it's meaning, the story it tells, how the music itself relates to that stuff, etc. Others (Managers) find charts and sales interesting and like to think of strategies to do well in those departments and generally have different priorities. They view the music industry as a big game of chess that's winnable, which is fine too even if it does sometimes foster a competitive attitude that can get out of hand fast (then again, what doesn't? :smh:). Then there's the ones that are some weird mixture of the two :green:

The Little Cupcakes just want the music on LG5 to be deep, personal, and to sound good; the Little Managers want to critique Gaga's management moves and promo schedule as well as keep track of chart positions; the Little Thirsties die daily wanting LG5 more than the oxygen they breathe; and the world keeps spinning.

Spoiler

That is until LG5 actually drops and destroys us all :gaycat:

Spoiler

And yes, I'm stealing the term "Little Cupcake" 👀

Why are y'all acting like knowing how to make yourself known is a rocket science? It just takes a good observer of what artists did to be successful. Nobody is laying out budgets or booking shows here. It's all suggestions.

99.99% of the time it's presented like fact not opinions. A lot of it is really petty too, hence the term little manager. They are particular about every detail, like her face "changes" when in actually it's just bad lighting.

Bette Davis

Idk, but it's pretty annoying when you share a constructive critique of something she does or a simple opinion and then people are like:

"OMFG LEAVE HER ALONE ITS HER LIFE LET HER BREATH YOU LITTLE MANAGER BOTTOM SLUT SUPPORT EVERY MOVE SHE MAKES OR DIE BITCH"

Obviously she can do what she wants, but this is a forum and people have the right to share whatever ideas about her career that they want.

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

The fact that you actually want Gaga to think like a businessperson is exactly why the pop industry is ****ed up.  Katy is your perfect pop star.

little managers are deathly afraid of failure. Afraid of risks. Afraid of "irrelevance". Afraid of not being #1. It's why pop music is repetitive, boring, bland, unimaginative, and nonthreatening.

The irony is that all the reasons Gaga became known in the first place Little Managers want to Avoid.
