They forget artists like Gaga, Madonna, MJ, Prince, Elvis, Beyonce, etc. all don't follow these rules and are the most beloved artists of all time, because, well, they're called artists, not popists

And yall saying gaga can do whatever she wants... she can but I don't wanna hear a single world when she opens with 75K albums and 2 top 40s and no budget for tours and vidoes and clothes. 

Embracing the mainstream isn't this denouncment of christ like some of yall are thinking. She really has alienated casual listeners by only pandering to her most die hard fans.

Yes. As long as her next album pleases you and you only, it's okay. Forget making everyone happy, just only you. 

some people here are so selfish with her music, it's gross. Stop acting like Gaga loved when ARTPOP made her career and world crash down. She can be complex and chill at the same time.

The praise AP gets astounds me. Aside from a select few songs, it lacked cohesion, heart, and soul, the 3 things gaga has brought to every aspect of her career. I would never want her to do something like that again. I don't care if it sold as much as her contemporaries at the time, the fact it sold as much as girls like Katy and Miley should only prove further it was a step down from where she was. 

I agree that wanting an artist to be someone's personal music slave is selfish, but it could be looked at from both sides: the ones who was AP 2.0 and the ones who want TF/M 2.0. The only ones who are truly being unselfish are the ones who say they don't care what direction gaga takes. (I for one am here for TF/M 2.0 because for me that was the best music, visuals, and videos she's ever produced).
