The messages he tried to pass with his art for AIDS after he was a recognisable figure had more impact if he was a nobody street artist. I truly believe that as a younger woman before 2013, Rihanna was heavily used as a product that had success. She is turning her image this way now and it is obviously HER ARTISTIC DECISION to show her nipples in all Anti videos. She is literally showing them and i get it so well. And for god s sake because its gets to my nerves, what being late has to do with being bossy????? I'm 26. Yes, small things make big changes but I don't like to see negative ones. Women showing nipples only encourages women to sexualise themselves and have lower self worth. It encourages them to send explicit pictures to their partners at their request, even when they don't want to, which they promptly share with others. It encourages men to believe that women's bodies are there for their entertainment, literally. No man has found it necessary to show explicit areas of his body in music videos. Because men know they don't need to do that to get success. If men don't need to do it, women shouldn't either. What message does it send that a woman has to be naked to get noticed but a man doesnt? It says: "Know your place," that's what. 23 minutes ago, Ciccone Madonna said: You should all ask yourself why a female nipple, even thought it is not genitalia is considered an expilicit content while a male nipple not????????????????????????? In the end of the day, if an artist makes you question something about your world thats the whole meaning of art.......Have a good day all of you. The fact you need an answer to that is mindblowing. Are you a man? Because if so, you will never understand the pain us women go through in this world and how insulting this free the nipple movement is. A movement that encourages men to gawp at us more than they do already and treat us like objects, all under the guise of empowerment. If you want to empower women, tell them to keep their clothes on. Men keep their clothes on because they know that gives them respect - if they were naked, they'd be vulnerable. Again, if men don't feel the need to strip off, women shouldn't either. And I was questioning this ridiculous movement long before Rihanna started showing nipples in her videos, thank you. What she's done isn't even new. Would they just stop being sexually harassed and assaulted? No, it will get worse. If it's bad enough when we're covered, think how much worse it'll be if we're topless? In reality, we will never get desensitized to nipples and we're not meant to. If we became so blase about the most intimate areas of people's bodies, the human race would be in a state of critical emergency as we wouldn't want to have sex anymore as we wouldn't be turned on by nudity. Plus, part of sexiness comes from mystique. It would get so boring if we all walked around with it all hanging out and that's why getting to know somebody and have them trust you enough to see them naked is so enjoyable. I think the amount of p*rn people watch all the time, yet never get desensitized will tell you that desensitization to nudity to impossible. Do you really think a quick shot of a nipple in a pop video is going to radically change things? And Rihanna is totally full of herself, by the way. She's been that way since Good Girl Gone Bad (how apt). Fame went to her head and she became rude, even to her own fans. I think how late she turns up to her concerts will tell you how "bossy of herself" she is. On the contrary, there are those who have achieved more than her who are a lot nicer. Rihanna has next to no involvement in the execution of her art either. She didn't turn out an album every year through playing a role in the art process. Rape is not due to the victim being half/ fully naked. It's the morally corrupted individuals who raped them wrong doing. I believe in embracing your body whether nude or clothed and even skinny and full. This is rihanna. If you want a fully clothed role model go to taylor swift. (No shade to her. I love Taylor). Believe it or not i look up to rihanna like i do gaga. She helped me love my body for what it is. She helped me give no ****s about negative opinions towards me. I was sexually assualted last year and i was fully clothed. Now i wear half the clothes i do because i want to and i dare anyone to touch me again. I don't think rih is that rude to her fans. Even then she is not entitled to be so nice. There are some people who are nice to me but no ****s are coming from my way but that doesn't make me a bad person. I think as gaga fans we are just spoiled lol. And we know nothing about how much rih is involed in the creative process.

I feel you are insecure of something that is just there to feed your future child, if you already dont have one. Whatever we are here to discuss, we dont hold the truth of the universe. Oh, really? Try walking topless into a male changing room, then, and see how empowered and not vulnerable you are, then. You are safer clothed - fact. Whether that's fair or not doesn't matter, it's reality. No, free nipples isn't about p**n. Art and p**n are different. But it is about natural desires. We're naturally drawn to naked bodies, as we should, we need to reproduce. There's nothing wrong with nudity in and of itself. But some people misapply it and abuse it. That's when it becomes harmful. Nothing we do at this point can change how we view nipples - it's ingrained into our psyche. Like I said, as long as the sex industry exists alongside this new ideology, nothing will ever change. We tell people nipples are no big deal, but then that message is undercut with one internet click. As long as we have that clashing message, nothing will ever change. The message should be "treat all women with respect, clothed or otherwise," not "women should be topless and proud." That's not female empowerment, that's a straight man's dream. 11 minutes ago, Harry said: She's a virgin so is angry about women who are happy and open about their sexuality, dw about her. That is one of the most hurtful things you've ever said to me. You should be ashamed. For someone who supports women, you sure do put them down when they disagree with you. And then a woman tells you what you're doing is wrong and you laugh at her? The irony persists. 9 minutes ago, Ciccone Madonna said: don t be rude to a woman for being virgin or whatever, this is rude Thank you for defending me even though you disagreed earlier. This is true if you're a woman or a man. You may respect people whatever they're wearing but the fact is, a lot don't and you've got to protect yourself against those. And no, I don't like Taylor (she's too prudish for me, actually!) I don't mind nudity if it has a purpose, if it's artistic, but not when it's gratuitous. I'm very sorry to hear you got sexually assaulted. I fully understand that you have your own way of coping but please realise that what you're doing isn't healthy and I hope you'll realise one day. Please make sure, no matter what you're wearing, that you stay safe and never let your guard down. She once said a fan looked like a goat and laughed at a girl who tried to copy one of her outfits for prom. It infuriates me how she can do this and still have fans. Her attitude disgusts me, sorry, and no one's going to change that. I think we do know how much she's involved. When she's one of 8 co-writers on a track and has no producing or directing credits, it's clear how much she provides. I remember there was some sort of insider article back in her Loud days that said she gets the tracks laid out for her by her writing camp (about 40 people strong) and she walks in like a celebrity judge and chooses the best ones. She has a writing camp, we know that for certain, the whole team have been photographed before, with reference to the work they did on Anti.

Never EVER disagree with a woman - the true meaning of feminism!! You know that I'm part of a feminist group and have organised and help organise several feminist events in my town, so let's not. And what about all the women that do support free the nipple? What do I do then? I mean you're a homophobic racist but hey yeah I'm the monster for having a problem with one woman. For women who do support free the nipple, you decide what your stance is on the issue and then respectfully discuss with women. You can disagree but still be respectful. I disagree but make it clear I only do so because I care about women's safety and image. And I am not a homophobic racist. How DARE YOU continue to slander my name for everyone to see. Your logic makes no sense. If people get sexually harassed it is because of the harassers and not the victims.
